I think those Roman numerals at the end underneath ATV say 1976. Blimey, Meg and David arguing. That was a good scene. I had never seen them shout or be angry in any episodes before. Good acting there for Ronnie and Nolly. I bet they had fun with some drama to get their teeth into. :)
I am a huge fan of Crossroads. Not often you see David Hunter losing his temper. Both Ronald Allen & Noele Gordon are excellent actors,to me they are.Other peoples opinions will differ.
Not an easy thing to do when someone in the house - even a guest - insists that it has to come on and nobody else’s opinion counts - doesn’t matter that it’s not their house, telly or electricity!
@@23rdjune Yes that's right. Now am I right in also remembering a storyline whereby Rosemary manoeuvres Meg into selling part of her 51% of shares to make it 50/50 with David?
@@23rdjune I remember there was some kerfuffle, which resulted in Meg selling 1% of her shares to David so she could no longer outvote him. Does anyone remember a woman who worked at a casino who helped David to overcome his gambling problem?
Sat at work watching this and I was hooked! Noele Gordon was on fire here, great acting! It's a shame the episode ended, I was really getting into it.
Fantastic thank you - once I saw Sandy for some reason I burst out laughing .
So nostalgic, happy memories ❤

Agree totally.
I used to like watching crossroads
Ronald Allen acting for once!
Awesome Harp on the end of the theme tune!
Noele Gordon was that show, wwe only watched it for her to be honest.
I love it when David gets annoyed.
Loved Noele, show wasn't the same without her.
Rosemary looks really 1920s! Meg favours the 1960s! FABULOUS clip!
No one said 'hwhat?' quite like Meg did.
@RelativeBadger To quote Lord Lew Grade, 'If you don't like it, don't watch it.'

Gwaan Meg. See ee deh. Blast hee yes.lettee havit
Excellent
Why arent the credits moving off diagonally like they used to do?
Cor nolly! What a dame!
Side two of the Into the valley 45. A-size - Into the valley...B-side - TV. Stars. (“Albert Tatlock!....Albert Tatlock” genius.
This will work well in gentrified london settings
What happened to the credits?!
Wow that was explosive is tis from one of th eNetwork DVDs?
I always think with Crossroads....is there a life outside of work?
I remember this storyline and it has worn well with time. Does anyone have the bit where Rosemary shoots David with a revolver..
Rosemary: "Tell me you love me David". David: "No". Rosemary (slightly louder) "Tell me you love me David". David: "No"......BANG!

@@stevebbuk Oh, crikey, you've got me there!

If you can get hold of the Network dvd collection of all remaining episodes the one where Rosemary shot David is on there.
She didn't do a very good job of trying to keep her temper did she.
Lol. She tried and failed.
ahhhh, poor sandy, "Shall I just PUSH orf?" lololol. They wouldnt get away with that today.
Wouldn't get away with what?
@TheSwiftCee um you were born in 1984, if your 26. So you were 4 when it finished? Why comment if you do not like it?
Was it the issue of motel shares in 1981 that led to Meg quitting the Motel?
Yep
Acorn Antiques
Rosemary Hunter is Norman Bates' mother and a hotel is involved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Better acting then present day EastEnders
Amazing women
Is Sandy doogooder still with us
he shouldn't have followed her precedent ,Meg could do what she liked , she was the boss and he wasn't.
brilliant! posh people arguing...
Acting good for no rehearsal
Worst acting ever! (prior to ANYTHING by Keanu Reeves)
