    Logic-on-Mac users just now catching on to the power of iPad production. SO MANY amazing powerful apps on iPadOS that have been around for years. AUM,Audiobus, LoopyPro, etc. - very powerful apps. TONS of amazing synths and plugins available. Welcome to the club!

    There are amazing AUV3 instruments and FX available for iPad now, so you don’t have to wait for “down the road”.

      I did a video years ago on orchestral libraries on the iPad. It’s one of my most watched videos. 😂

    I doubt Apple expects this to replace Logic for the Mac. This is a slight detour in purpose. It’s aimed less at composers who are doing large works, but more for people on say, Tic Tok and other more immediate need compositions. It’s also great for students who can’t afford, or don’t want to buy the Mac package. By charging either monthly or yearly, a student can turn it in for one month to do a project, and the turn it off again, and not pay until it’s needed again. Much cheaper.

    Can anyone tell if it has the Score Editor for music notation?

      That’s a great question! Probably gonna be a big selling point for people if it does. I didn’t see anything when I was looking into it but I definitely want to check when it releases 👍🏼

    I hope Apple does not change Logic to a subscription model!

  • @jjptech
    @jjptech ปีที่แล้ว

    1. No way I get into Subscriptions for my music software
    2. The only way I would even consider paying a subscription is if I could load the internal Virtual instruments into other DAWs... which i think is NEVER going to happen. So let's go back to point 1 🙂

    they need to improve the remote for PRO composers, and the original logic, i am not in love. By pro i mean who has all the skills expected. The Score Editor still sucks in the past, and no integration to remote.

    Apple made a mistake. Sell it for 149 and you will make more money than subscribers.

      @Elwaves2925 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Or sell the base version for £50 with one year's worth of updates. Then have an optional yearly charge for a years worth of upgrades after that. They get an initial amount upfront, followed by continual revenue down the line from those that want new features/fixes etc.

    Why compose on the go. How crazy. Take a guitar and a recorder

    • @BobbyMitchellMusic
      @BobbyMitchellMusic ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So you suggest recording ideas on guitar on your recorder so that later you have to listen and transfer that performance into your daw from scratch? So how is it ‘crazy’to just record directly into your project on a studio that fits in your backpack?

      @@BobbyMitchellMusic If he uses a guitar and a recorder, my guess is he doesn't own and iPad yet. When you have tools at hand that work, you simply get use to them just because they help to save time and improve your workflow. Like the saying recites: "You can't miss what you never had."

    It won’t be long before AI takes over music composition and creation and us musicians and songwriters will no longer be required.
