Be aware, this game (as well as the original) has super inconsistent lip sync. Nothing we can do about that on our end. Overall, I loved the game. I don't know if it's for everyone, but if you allow yourself to get sucked into the world, you'll fall in love with it. A solid 8.5 out of 10.

Hmmm agreed with lip sync and facial expression problem, sometimes I think I see the character kind of float from the ground too... Imo ff 7 rebirth did better and had much love from the devs in terms of production, but still I like this game... Probly black myth wukong is way better than this and ff 7 rebirth, hope u can play it when it releases

Not complaining, I was just expecting more than 4 hours
Yeah, I get you. The game took about 30 hours. But so much of that is walking from point a to point b. And side missions that don't connect to the main story. And a lot of the side chatter from the pawns and repeated throughout the game, not the same as something like FF7.

I was surprised the cutsceens were not DLC.
Why because like every Capcom game you have some microtransactions? These ones aren't nearly as bad as re4 remake or even re2 remake where you can pay to get infinite ammo weapons or fully upgrade your weapons. We're as with these you can only buy one of each item in the store lol and you get all thst stuff very frequently in game.

This was interesting and pretty good but definitely "B" tier. The story was pretty compelling, especially learning what the "dragon's dogma" really was. What was the purpose of the giant golem (around 3:21:00 and on)? Seems it would have been stopped either by the lava or the mountain just past the lava, and it didn't really do anything. Was most of this video actually DD1, with DD2 starting where it showed Dragon's Dogma II? Short game if so. It seemed a lot of loose ends were not wrapped up at the end of DD1, mostly what happened with Disa once the Arisen became king? I had more questions but I've forgotten them, just as I'm likely to forget this game. :) Still, thanks for playing it, not a bad movie experience! 🐧

The lore is in shambles, the franchise is ruined.

@@MMTrapsYT they didnt forget anything. if you played the first game, the seneschal is dead and cannot look for another. Hence no reason for the dragons "dogma" to continue, their reason for destruction is no more, no reason to return your heart. Thats also why the dragons plague exists, with no one watching over the Nexus/everfall, horrific beings/sickness will blend into other universes. They continued the idea here. Thats why the beginning of the game does not say Dragons Dogma "2" until post game. We dont see the consequences of the prior arisens actions til end game, the pathfinder wants to fix what the remaining dragons are doing. With the leaked DLC supposedly being called "dragon princess", i assume we're goin to make some sort of another seneschal to fix everything
@@jinji_xo a little late to the party brother arisen, I played the first for untold hours and studies it’s scraps of lore and one thing remains true, the defeat of the dragon guarantees the return of your heart. This one does not follow that, not only that, it rewrites so much of the watcher’s lore and goals.
