The real deals with CoolMusic are the acoustic amps and FRFR/PA speakers. Battery powered, great for busking.

I just received the Blackstar debut 50 and am starting to dig in so far so good , i do have an issue with the fender American pro i just got yesterday , got it from Sweetwater ,had it pleked and it plays like butter but the freaking the tunning is so unstable not sure why but i would of thought it would be more stable than it is especially coming in a hard case and having it setup . What ya think 🤔
Where the point now where if your gona practice at home get a nice pair of speakers and an interface for your guitar if your traveling use that same interface into your phone with headphones or a Bluetooth amp

For $70 I suppose it's not that bad if you are really broke. (it didn't sound very good at all to me).
For 139 canadian this amp is G-A-R-B-A-G-E. For 39.99 it's a good value. This thing is overpriced by $100.

I've heard a lot worse. The hum is pretty bad though. My guess is they cheaped out on the power supply section in the amp.
Overall, I wouldn't buy it, but it sounds better than a lot of crap from the 90's that I grew up around.
The Jazzmaster sounded the most interesting, otherwise, bad amp.
One of the worst pieces of amplified bum burps I've ever heard! I'd rather wire a g-tar to a tin can with a piece of rusty barbed wire... and people slag off solid state Katanas!? Holy cow that was a bag of amped hell. Good demo.

This hidden gem should remain hidden. My God this thing sounds like crap. More like “Stool Music.”
I stated to play with an cheap amp from Sears but mine had a 12 in speaker and I was 11 years old and I rocked with a drummer and an other guitar player with that same amp at 12 years old . It’s all you Landry . Plug in a decent amp I guarantee you won’t sound any better 😢

Decent amp. The gain sounded better towards the end when you cranked up the brightness. But I'd still prefer a Blues Jr with a good fuzz box. I do think solid state amps are getting better at replicating tube tones.

I'd recommend the Vox Pathfinder 10 for a practice amp. I just use the clean channel and add a multi effects pedal for dirt, reverb, delay, phaser etc.

Vox made a cool Pathfinder 15 head and cab many years ago.
Amps like that make virtually all guitars sound pretty much the same to me.
I had low expectations of this amp & they were met. Not an achievement Cool music should be proud of! I hope you get a full refund, including shipping costs.

For the money, that is actually unreal.
I don’t know if hidden gem means unknown, but more people definitely need to know of them and rate them higher.
I have an ID Core 10 watt, has all I need & can dial in any fx immediately. Works for me.
@@jamesalfano5740 I made the switch to Blackstar Amps last year. Got an ID Core and The Silverline Stereo Deluxe. All the sounds I'll ever need! Blackstar is highly underrated.

I have the Cool Music BP MIni and BP40 (busking amps). They are phenomenally good! And the build quality seems second to none. They are just brilliant.
For 70 bucks you can find old American peavey practice amps that sound better than that.
It sounds like it is an amp like device that makes amp type sounds. My impression is that of an amp adjacent object.
This sounds like a Crate amp I bought for 15$ at a thrift store.
I have a silly little donner amounts decent for practice. Usually just use a headphone converter so I don’t bug folks.

I have both the Unique-25 and the Unique-50 amps. The 50 sounds better than the 25, but my Marshall MG15CDR ($15 at Goodwill) blows it out of the water. My Marshall MG10 is way better, $7.99 from Goodwill. Use this amp if you don't have one. Otherwise, stay away.
I paid $40 for a nice MG15 last week... Thought that "I" got a great deal.
Solid little sucker that will be fun modding. Sounds better open back to me in my small room.
It's not too bad. I bet it would sound pretty good with a Rosewood Telecaster.

I own a voxac30 a Marshall jcm800 fender tweeds and more and I love my Cool Music amp BP400 i have had for over a year it’s a battery operated killer killer little amp I use it for Bluetooth listening to you tube and playing along .. you can insert a mic with phantom power and two guitars it has effects like reverb delay etc you can busk with it for 4 hour of battery time it’s loud as shit has two speakers .. I give it a 100 out of 100 I love mine .. it’s sitting on my kitchen counter right now I also use it to practice solo looping stuff it’s Awesome 👏 mine is wedge shape and has zero hum but I also don’t mic it I use it as a small pa it works great for that I’ve done shows with it .. don’t mix it use it as a live tool
The problem here is using a guitar that costs more than many cars. If the entire setup, guitar/ amp/ microphone was $200 it would sound better. The noise is simply class clash.

I've heard worse tones from tubes. Ive also heard way better from solid state 🤷🏼 It's enough for me to consider buying one when I get to my working vacation destination. (I'm a plumber with half an amateur studios worth of gear at home)

Amp ok... hummm.... hey, what is the first song you're 🎵 gonna learn or have learned? Mine is Pride And Joy (SRV) when I was younger I learned a part from Peter Paul and Mary, A Solin which is a neat song.
I see old Crate amps being mentioned. To be honest, most of the SS gain stages were not great. They really shined with the chorus circuit. GK's were kind of the same with the delay and chorus.
I have a CoolMusic powered monitor (DM100), no hum. It's a decent little amp. Works for edrums, bass, guitar, keys, etc..

You should check out the Coolmusic DP40. Think you'll like it. I sure do.
Sounds fairly good to me on the gain setting. For hidden gems I rate the Digitech x series range, and MXR 2000 series range pedals.

Landey your guitars are out of tune in a big way . For example I watched Robin Trower play a show at the Coach House in Southern California in Orange County and he played the whole show out of tune with his band . Everyone was so drunk I was the only one who complained . But when he did an encore his was giving a new guitar and for 3 songs he was finally in tune . What a waste of time .
