Man looses $75K and gets a steering wheel while everyone else is getting heavy ass tire rims and rotors 😂😂
*loses
That steering wheel probably weighed around 5 lbs, that's $111,000 worth of gold.
Classic metal steering wheels weigh around 3-4 lbs. Assuming they used the same weight of gold for the steering wheel it would be worth between 70k and 90k USD once melted down. Dude either got his whole pension back at minimum or about 20k extra on top, since they have to part it out for the pensions of all the employees of the Tower I'd say Lester got a pretty fair deal.
@@madmartigan4429 After a decade, someone finally answers my longtime question about that. thank you very much
@@madmartigan4429 gold would be heavier than any metal steering wheel tho (Gold weight 4 times more than iron). so with the same size, it could weigh at least double of that amount. They would get atleast double of their pension :P
Somehow it makes me cry 🥹 how could the old grandpa still greedy of money. But the ending was “gold” 😂
It's true to life, that's why
I don't know about every old rich guy, but there are some, like Rockefeller, who loved that lifestyle, and sometimes you do bad stuff to maintain that. Greed is natural to all people, but some are insatiably greedier than others. Makes for good motivation and incentive for work and competitiveness, but also an incentive for more... Cutthroat ways to satisfy greed. I mean, just look at Rockefeller and Najib Razak
It is the nature of narcisism. They are forzen at around 6 or 7 years old for the rest of their lives.
As a former chess player, I fully understand the weight of sacrificing your Queen in order to win the game. The strategy of chess playing has got me through some real life situations as well as taught me patience.
Who asked for your advice ?
@@humanonearth4542 Nobody, absolutely no one, not a single soul, niemand, ingen, personne, ไม่มีใคร, 没有人, hiç kimse!!!
now Im interested what sacrifices did you do?
Youre lying, you never played chess on your own, probably used chess ai to play.
@@LDW12887 I didn’t know Microsoft 98 was AI this whole time, woooowww, I’ve been out the loop.
“I don’t know how to steal”
“Don’t worry I know a guy”
Cuts to the one black guy in the cast lol
Who else would it be?
@@BlackDiamond2718 idk any Romanians in the movie?
and a black woman who can open any safe. and after that they couldn't scrap the money to get an asian guy for the number calculations
@@siggybuttbrain7026 What do you mean "Romanians"? Totally different peoples.
@rovertedaspie9095 yes and those people are also known for being thieves.
It's the damn cockroach in a bag that killed me😂😂
That car would be worth over two hundred million dollars and weigh 3.5 tons.
No, it is a fictional car. If it was real they could have sold it to make back all the money the movie lost at the box office.
Eddy Murphy looking like a boss
If that car were made of gold, it would weigh so much that it's impossible to move the way it is shown in the movie. (See Indiana Jones' the golden idol scene where it shows the same plot hole) .
Movies aren't known for being completely realistic
Yeah but you're not meant to analyse the film for "unrealistic" things, you're just supposed to enjoy the plot. If you analyse every piece of media like that then you're gonna end up a very bored person
I mean they could easily bend it.
watch the wire bro
This movie is pure gold!! Thank you so much♥️
Do you know how much a car made outta gold would weigh? No way the elevator would hold
Who seriously thinks they can retire with only $73,000?
That wasn't the amount of his retirement that was the amount in his savings. So he lost his savings and pension

Oh yah know, casual Ford GT just chilling
Now i know how they bring those cars in 2nd floor in malls
16:54 Lester is who I aspire to be lmao
This is one of my favorite movies of all time I watch it every year and I love how they have all the comedians and great actors there
Alan Alda is always great as a villain mogul.
Oh shit! I always thought this was some b rated movie, didn’t expect it to be this good!
I absolutely love this movie. I've watched it so many times.
Rep 🇯🇲 love the recaps bro
Reminds me of a story called The Golden Keel, where a group of guys melt down gold and make a keel out of it and smuggle it out of the country.
Yo sounds like money heist lmao
@@高槻泉-c7b Yo it was a book called The Golden Keel by Desmond Bagley.
@@MegaDirtyberty I thought that was a movie lol kept on searching but nothing came up.
@@高槻泉-c7b en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Golden_Keel
why have I never heard of this movie? Thanks for the recap
Thanks for posting this. Now I want to see the whole movie. And I saw several familiar faces, including Ben Stiller, Alan Alda, and Eddie Murphy.
If it was actual solid gold, the floor wouldn't be able to support all that weight.
Very good cast in this Movie.
The budget was large enough to hire all those stars, only to be let down by horrible CGI of a truck rolling over at 3:22
That’s not CGI that was practical you could look up the making of the movie not every movie does over top
@@Faceplay2 Well, they did a bad job then cuz it looks VERY fake
This movie gave me one of my most awesome one liners: “Sharks are born swimming.”
This movie, old but gold just like the car
Great movie!
@guto :: It's a good movie, imo, not great. The settings are great ; the dialogue is ok, I'm assuming, but there are too many issues where you have to suspend your critical-thinking ( how could the cops NOT know the courthouse was closed -- on Thanksgiving, no less ) ?!
Loved tower heist. Quite the change in heist movies.
An all star cast
Totally qualified😹😹😹
Now that's seems a great movvie to watch
Best film to watch!
Strongest lift in the universe
And you wonder why people are lazy. They can watch short recaps that don’t even capture the heart of many films they cover. I’ve seen this film more than once. Same guy who directed the Rush Hour films did this as well.
Should have sent Auther a lug nut.
I’m going to look for this movie to see it again. I did see it when it first came out.
I’d never trust the mail to deliver gold
Why the hell ben make such movies 😭😂🙏🏻
You seen Severance?
Great Movie
This is literally the plot of the westing game
It was an ok movie but no way guy went to pound me in the butt prison, Josh would have but not the bad guy. He would be at club fed, no fences, ping pong tables, television, tennis, still really bad food. But nothing like the prison they showed at the end of the movie.
If he still have money, sure. But once he lose all his funds- ie, the car - he lost leverage.
What the name of this movie?
He says it in the video, did you even watch it?
AKA - Ferris Bueller's Day Off - Part 2
11:34 YOOOOOOOO??????????

Is that zoolander!1!???

its that guy the focker
No, this is Patrick
it had to be the black guy
This movie wasn't even that good
Hollywood leftist movie
Not every rich person is a cruel a-hole. But they're committing a crime you can't possibly hate them for since he screwed over so many people.
Good joke
Are you saying that because the rich guy was depicted as an @$$, or do you just have a problem with anything Hollywood in general? Or do you just not like any movie that isn't strictly a conservative depiction?
