Just found your channel. My hair journey is very similar to yours in that I started in 2009 and that was the last time using relaxers. Process is slow but not giving up. Thanks for your tips and you have beautiful hair!

My hair just got a little past collar bone and chin. I plan to try new things and learn to braid it before It gets any longer.

My 4chair was growing so nicely until I got iron deficiency + vitamin D 😭 and everything ruined . My side hair line break so bad and also my crown area . Frustrated😔😔

Hi Ruaa so sorry to hear what has happened. The good news is you can start again. If the hair is badly damaged trimming off the damage would be the first place to start and then you can also look at my routines for beginners playlist. I'm happy to answer any other questions you may have

Every head of hair is different. Braiding my natural hair without using synthetic hair caused a lot of damages to my hair. Using synthetic hair helps my hair to grow longer.

Synthetic braids really cut my ends and dries them out. Compressed braids also makes it feel funny. My scalp also burns (not quite an itch) when it's time for a wash. (Monthly to 2 months max)
