Thank you for allowing me to learn through your eyes. Very informative. I'm glad you were able to experience the acute hospital setting as well as to learn so much!!

Im in acute care right now…..my CI is incredibly tough on me unfortunately. She expects me to know everything so when i ask her a question about something basic like abbreviations or what an equipment is for she will make me feel stupid for asking

Totally agree about the leads and lines they can be intimidating. I would also add demonstrating safety with your patient is very important in this setting. Dealing with the death of your patients can also be challenging. Thank you for sharing 😊

Thanks for making a video about your experience in acute care. Hope you make more about your experiences in each setting. Also glad you got a great CI in a setting where you didn’t prefer to help make your experience better 😊

I'm interested in the ICU setting, and when I shadowed an OT, I saw that there really wasn't much paragragh writing for documentation. Just checking boxes.

Hi!! Just found my placement for 2b is in acute care inpatient. I’m so nervous!! Do you have a video of what patients and conditions you worked with and how you prepped ? Any stories ?
