Hello Dave!! My name is João. I just started playing with ADAU1797 EVAL. I downloaded Sigma and Sigma Plus but I can't seem to find my board in both of them. Do I have to download anything else separately? Does using the ADAU1787 on the software work?? Thanks a lot for the video!
Hello Joao, Glad you are interested in using the SigmaDSPs. It would be important to learn what your application is that you are looking to solve? The reason why I ask is because the ADAU1797 is a very different part. It is technically not a SigmaDSP. It does not have a sigmaDSP core. It has a HiFi core so you will need to use a different IDE and purchase a license for programming a HiFi core. I think we have done some work to use SigmaStudio for programming the FastDSP core. It actually has two cores. I do not support this part so I am not the expert with it. I would have to connect you with one of the other Apps engineers. Feel free to contact me directly via email or post a question on EngineerZone. Post it in the Audio forum space... I just went to grab a link to the forum and I see you have posted a question. I will alert the correct people to help you. Also, you are correct that the ADAU1787 is somewhat of a predecessor but it does have a Sigma200 DSP core along with the FastDSP core which is why you can find it in SigmaStudio.
Very helpful and fun to watch! Thank you! 👍
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

Note that you'll need to create an EngineerZone account to download.
Thanks . Can you share some project for ADAU1761 voice application?
I would need a lot more detail about your application.
