It depends on the country, FH3's brighter because it takes place in Australia with ton a bright sun, FH4 Is a little darker and Rainier with mud and wet grass like England actually

Graphics and feel in FH4 is so much better but the sounds in FH3 are waaaaaay better and makes it win. FH3.
Ferrari 488 GTB has a better sound in FH4, in FH3 is not realistic. FH4 used to have the same sound file, but after Fortune Island release the sound was updated.

The map in FH4 is boring af. Looks like some racing interpretation of Fortnite. In Horizon 3 the map is waaaaay more diverse, since it's Australia. B).

Yeah true but ever think of just cause 2 the maps for forza 3 and JC2 are really versatile
There are more unique cars in Horizon 3, most of the sounds are amazing and detailed, while in horizon 4 everything seems to be so generic and even boring. The terrain in Horizon 3 is also way much more diverse than in 4. The radio stations in 3 also have a better soundtrack imo and a nice system for the horizon development.

Nice comparison. FH4 may look better in most scenes but the actual attention to details, sounds, dust and particles effects are better in FH3. So F Horizon 3 is still the best in the series.

They reduces the effects in FH4 for a better performance since FH4 aquires more computing power, even on quality mode 30fps, let alone performance mode 60fps.

I’ve only played FH4, would anyone recommend me getting FH3? It seems like an incredibly cheap way of getting a whole new map to explore, but I’m also not sure if FH4 changes a lot in terms of core mechanics... I mainly would like to play a new map but without any potential negatives of going to a previous game title. Any advice welcome
You should play Forza Horizon 3 i would say in terms of mechanics its about the same but the map and the races in general are in my opinion better in 3

I started also with 4 2 month ago and I love it. Right now i'm kinda in the endgame segment. 'cause i made almost all races and quests. I was asking myself to go with fortune island or with FH3 and I decided rigt now (before 10 minutes) for FH3, because in the MS-Store the Game was for 13 €uro. In GB even for 9 Pound, but I'm unsure if I can download then if I'm not of that region. Anyway....the price of FH3 is SUPER low and I bought it and can't wait to come home ! Cheers

por mas contenido ligas y demas del Fh4 , FH3 es para mi el mejor de todos los Horizon su jugabilidad al mando , sin esa velocidad bestial del 4 que flotan en la superficie, online hermosa si las eatupidas penalizaciones por chocar contra un muro inevitables en un arcade , para mi por muy abrumador que sea ante tanto que hacer del fh4, sigue siendo a nivel personal mejor el 3 en muchos apartados.

im just gonna say fh3 is soo much better in terms of game play and story line you finish instantly in fh4 but in fh3 it takes forever to complete the game same with fh2

El 4 tiene mejor iluminación, reflejos ,detalles del entorno. Pero es un juego de autos y eso es lo que aquí importa, el fh3 es mucho mejor en ese aspecto, los autos están mejor diseñados y no se ven tan "plásticos" como en el fh4. El 3 para mí es mejor en muchos aspectos.
Un fanático y seguidor de la saga Forza Horizon dese el inicio.
Own Horizon 2, 3 and 4. 4 has slightly better visuals and much superior range of cars. 3 has better colours, map, soundtrack and more importantly, the car sounds are fantastic. Visuals are only slightly better on 4 compared to 3 but overall 3 is the better game in my opinion. My bugbear with 4 is there's too many clothes you can win on super spins which is pointless considering you're in the car 95% of the time. This needs to go for FH5. As for Horizon 2 that's always worth a pick up as it still plays great and has a good map as you drive in between France and Italy. Pretty cheap to buy now too. Never played the first one.
The first one had an unforgetable festival aura. The map and the events were great. The visuals (especially during sunsets) still hold up, and the soundtrack was just amazing. Even the storyline was involving

@@luigihad4077 Not even you must have a shit monitor or TV. Do you see the reflections and subtle light difference in FH4 vs FH3? Hell the guy on the left looks like a plastic doll and the light hits the dashboard in a very static and linear way. Just look at how the light defuses in FH4 and how the back ground is more detailed and different colors are more pronounced. I disagree if you know anything about photo realism then FH3 looks very arcade like.
