31:19 Kyuhee Park is the i-drag queen.
Lol love it!!
Thank for this fantastic analysis of such an amazing player.
Wow what a thoughtful and insightful video. Must have taken a lot of time to edit and put together. You articulate your thoughts well with good examples. Thank you for spending the time to do so! Appreciate it!
Whatever she does reduces me to an emotional wreck, i can't explain it just unbelievable musicality. 😊
Thanks, Charles. Really helpful in relativizing my small hands. Also, allowing your body to teach you how to alter technique to serve the music. Segovia probably would have dismissed her from class, especially for her own fingerings and technique. She has become one of my favorites, and the only one in Pepe Romeros' league in terms of tremolo technique with Recuerdos. And oh, your description of how she swivels her elbow, wrist, etc. reminds me of dancing with her instrument, also in service of the sound she wants to express. One of the most "personal" sounding guitarists when interpreting and pacing a piece - making it her own... JB
She came to San Francisco and I loved her concert. Pimi for the tremolo... Ana Vidovic does that also.
This analysis is so interesting. I love this content as I have small hands too, this video really helped. Kyuhee Park is definitely someone whom i had to study. Could you do something on right hand technique for etude 2 by Villa Lobos? I love performances of Xingye Li and Mateuz Kowalski. Their virtuosity is just dazzling.
So glad you enjoyed the video! I do plan to make more. And thanks for your suggestion, but I really have no desire to hear or think about VL etude 2 lol. I’d probably only get into that piece in a lesson.
Thanks for the unique content again. Hope to see more! No worries about the VL etude😂
Lol right on!
Great video! No more excuses for me!
Lol I feel ya!
Thank you Chuck! :)
Sure thing Valerio!
❤❤❤😊
I would like to improve my tremolo skill. Any methods could u advise me? any exercises could u give to me for practicing?
Lol I don’t think so

이 사람은 박규희의 연주 방법을 세포 단위 까지 해체 분해 시켜 설명하네 ㄷㄷ
What’s the size of her guitar? 650 or 640 or 630mm?
Idk for sure but I would guess 650
maybe she keeps time by moving her arm
if you're a virtuoso, standard technique does not really matter. mere mortals, however, should stick to standard technique as it helps them a lot and is meant for them. they shouldn't aim to emulate the weird technique they see from virtuosic players; it will not confer magical powers. just accept that some people are like genetic mutants (oddly gifted for the task) :)
It’s only work. But i’m agree about the physiological approach. Some movement are prohibited for some people. If they do them, they could have some tendinite or other bad stuff like that.
