Around Baucau, Timor Leste August 2023

On the weekend we did an enjoyable trip east of Dili to Baucau. We stayed in the Pousada de Baucau and spent a casual, relaxing weekend enjoying the Pousada and pool and exploring 'old Baucau'. On a previous trip I spent time exploring the Baucau coastline but not this time ... that will be another trip to look forward to again! Baucau is well worth a visit and an easy ride or drive (about 2 and a half hours ) from Dili along some good roads that twist and turn as they hug the coastline ... go check it out!
