The show is an EXACT copy of the french show "HPI", I mean like exact as in: The actors look even similar, have similar hairdos, beard lenghts, the cases are the same, clues re the same, the NAMES are the same, the arc-story is the same, the dance scene in the first episode is almost a 1:1 copy, including bumping into the files with her butt … It it such a detailed copy and has so much "faithfulness to the original" that I wonder why they even filmed it again instead of just dubbing the original french show.
Considering this show has the showrunner from "The Good Place" on board, you know it will be funny and entertaining. Does not have the cast that show had but it is still a good cast that can make it work. The writing is very good.
Whenever I see her in something like this it actually feels off that she's not freaking out and making an ass out of her self the way her character Dee would. Her acting normal is just weird haha.

Right? I love the French original version and the US show is an exact replica but I like the US version too just like the French one more
