Thanks, I enjoyed that. I grew up in Boghall during the 60s and 70s, and it has not really changed too much. Those flat-roofed houses were built during the late 60s, for I remember them being built, and we moved into one in 1970. Boghall (terrible name, I agree) was a great place to grow up, but it seemed to develop a bit of a wild reputation for a period after we left. Hopefully, it has calmed down a wee bit since. By the way, that steep downhill leaving Boghall starting about 20:45 is the marvellously named "Puir Wife's Brae" presumably named for all those poor wifies who were faced with walking up it.
Thanks for sharing,I was born in Bellshill maternity hospital in 1958 and lived in Bathgate,my dad was a miner and we moved to England in the 1960s for work,we used to live in a street called murryfeild terrace.
Oh my god, this brings back memories. I am now in my 50s and my grandparents lived in Boghall Drive from the 50s into the 90s and in school hols, my parents and I would stay with them. Can see my Grandpa yet walking his wee dug around the estate. Thanks for putting this up. xx
Originally from Kilwinning, moved to Calderwood (West Lothian) via some lengthy time spent in Edinburgh. West Lothian is the best move we made. Scotmid are the Lothians co-op group. So for instance where I came from we had the co-op in the main street, but here in the Lothians it's Scotmid. Sometimes visit Bathgate for shops, but it's mostly Livi or Broxburn and a sneaky trip to Corstorphine in Edinburgh.
Brilliant wee video great to see bathgate

Never heard of Murrayfield Terrace in Bathgate and I’m born and bred in Bathgate (61 next month)
Just off bathgate rd
I think it could have been in Blackburn, I was only six when I moved to England 🤔
