So far I have not been woken up once by Yu-san going to bed later, and I am impressed...!
I also have a feeling of being lighter when I wake up in the morning, which makes me realize that it is true that a mattress can change the quality of your sleep.

To be honest, I would prefer more light in my own home. Ideally natural lighting.
I do like plants though. I'd probably choose based on several things. My own limits on what sort of care the plant needs would be a hard limit. There is no point in planting something, that would just wither.
Maybe I would go for it, like this: Starting out with a few easy plants of a similar type, that are forgiving and where I can learn how much and what kind of care a plant needs. And after a while, when I feel confident in my care for this type of plant, add another (few) type(s). That way I can learn step by step hopefully without too many problems. It would mean that I can't really use the plants to hide things or put them where a place looks empty. Rather I would need to look what place would fit to this type of plant. Then either arrange my furniture around it somewhat or find compromisses between freeing up the needed space and having a reasonable layout with my furniture. Well, everyone has different priorities I guess. But if I had parts I wouldn't like to see, I would try to use other kind of decoration. I just don't like to put a living being (like a plant) somewhere it isn't doing well.

ソファの隣にあるおおぶりな葉のほうは『フィカスベンガレンシス』で、窓際にある細かな葉の方は『エバーフレッシュ』です🪴
フィカスは立川にある『RUST』という植物屋さんで、エバーフレッシュは湘南と自由が丘に店舗のある『Buriki no Zyoro』というお店で購入しました☺️
