Another round of great riding and trails. I just upgraded from a hero 3 to a 7. Love this camera. With no gamble it puts out very stable shots, especially with so many gnarly rock trails here in Colorado. Thanks for sharing and keep them coming!!!
@@JamesRobertMTB massive change especially with the settings. Good call out to Double Track on Loam Ranger as I had put the settings on immediately. I also added the foam sleeve for wind and live the stereo quality. Getting the trail noise is one of my favorites.
You're flying out there! Nice riding! You're Hero 9 settings looks great. I'm using a GoPro Hero 8. Very happy with it, even more so after turning off auto white balance and the firmware update that added HyperSmooth Boost.
Oh god. Not really qualified for a question like this but I always run my stuff with volume spacers. That way I can run pretty low pressure so the initial part of the travel is soft for all the small bumps, but if I hit a drop or jump I don’t use up all of the travel as the volume spacers make it ramp up. I hope that helps 👍👍
@@JamesRobertMTB I hate fireroad climbs on an MTB. The technical climbup from Glyncorrwg is great as it's interesting single track that stops climb being a boring drag.

I see an advert on the website... what releases that day? The Hero9🤣 ffs. However I’ve heard the comparisons aren’t really worth much and I’ve heard of bad audio issues on the 9 so I am happy with the 8 for now. Also recently started including some third person stuff from my new iPhone11 shoots 4K and looks quality🙌
Thanks mate! Always the same with technology I find. Yeah I have been having a few issues with my GoPro. It often crashes, will not record if the battery is running low and the audio is awful. Bought it purely for the Hyper smooth. I always mean to add third person shoots, but find myself having to much fun on the way down 🤣
You missed the top part of Mind the Fap. It's called Go Fap Yourself. Start the cafael descent and straight away when you hit the fire road for heart break ridge take a right and up onto a fallen down tree. That tree has been made into a board walk and that's the start.
@@JamesRobertMTB it's probably 3/4 or 2/3 the length of the bottom section. It's super fast though so it's over a lot quicker. JP took over a year to build the bottom section alon and he does a really good job which shows I think.
