It's good if they are really having interest in such topics but this kind of questions are pre planned by teachers and verified by the organisers before they ask, I have been in such events while I was in school. It's a good step atleast students will get some exposures

The kid asked a very valid question which is there many adults minds as well. The question deserved a proper answer. Kudos to the kid who has such awareness of the current affairs.

If you'll listen to the boy carefully, even he was nervous and everyone will be due to two reason. First is the position of this man, and second and most important is the man himself. I mean, we all have had a moment of goosebumps while listening to him somewhere or the other.
The way he changes his vocabulary and way of speaking so that the kid and everyone could understand him, is truly a humble and great characteristic of his.

It's a good sign that even school kids are well aware of international relations & geopolitical situation. Decades before situation was just the reverse of it. Even graduates were ignorant on this topic.
Just hope we will get to see same sort of awareness in economic, trade, investment field. Not from school kids, atleast from graduates.

Can't even answer a 9th grader's question properly. India's fight with China at this stage of our economic growth is not just a mistake, but a blunder. They haven't evevn considered the second -order consequences of dumb actions like bannning Chinese apps. For example, TikTok is on of the top apps in the USA and several people are making tons of money from it (through their monetization features - like the TikTok shop). A lot of Indians could have benefitted from that - but the illegal app ban has made Indians take several steps backward when they are supposed to be competing on a level field.
