Lupe and Micky came with some heat. I may be in the minority tho because I just like this track better. Lupe and Micky were more direct but Royce really showed a higher level of complete lyricism with the entendres internal rhyme schemes and the pockets of flows he was in. I think it depends on what you are looking for in a rap battle. If you looking for who has the more personals and who was more direct and aggressive then it's Lupe. If you think a battle against 2 elite MCs should be based on the display of their lyrical ability then you would like Royce's track better. Lupe wanted to show he can be more aggressive and direct, Royce wanted to show he could out rap. They're almost playing 2 different games. Really it almost seems like Royce wasn't completely seriously going at Lupe, just trying to show he is the better rapper. Meanwhile it looks like Lupe is really trying to chop off Royce's head. If you've heard Royce's disses before in the past then you know what I mean. This wasn't that

That makes it kind of hard to judge who won, especially since Royce doesnt seem to want to respond in a more rap battle-esque way like everybody wants him to. On a technical level Silence of the Lambda is by far the best song as of yet, but when it comes to the battle aspect of this "rap battle", Lupe and Mickey both kind of bodied Royce. i just hope he responds soon and that they keep this going, because they are all elite lyricists it is awesome to see them go at like this.
