But here's an exercise in DIFFERENT. How about representing Salt Lake City with an ADVERB or ADJECTIVE (some are both). One that begins with the letters "SL". For instance, UTAH SLY. The logo can be a fox (if you want to make Phoenix happy, use the head of a snarling coyote!) The idea here is that there are LOTS of words beginning SL that could apply. Get away from names that the host of this podcast calls TERRIBLE.
how about borrowing from Jerry Reed: team name UTAH GOLDMINE, the arena can be THE SHAFT - the home team gets the gold mine, the opposition get the shaft
