They have gone way down in price. Don't see them going back up. This isn't like sports cards where there is a long history. Don't see this market getting hot again. More of a niche thing
Not necessarily. It can have any price on here at the time. But when Clint goes to sell it. If he sells it it might well go for the 400 odd. Somethings value is only what someone is willing to pay. How much its worth to them.
I feel like they've released the Green ranger pop recently which would probably drop the price. I picked up one from my local collectable store about 3 weeks ago for 17$. Not that exact one it was the normal box
The one he had was an nft pop. You could only get that one by buying nft packs online. It’s limited and rare compared to the ones you walk into a store and just buy.
@@jasonnunez6411 ahh makes sense. I hadn't seen the nft one. But was assuming the in store ones dropped the value. Sucks that JDF passed away. That would be a great piece to get signed :(
Always wonder what good you think it does to “give the tour around the box tape/seam”? If it’s a company that’s going to “favor you” bc they know you buy the big mystery boxes every single time and usually multiple) then all they have to do is wait to seal the top of the box until the know who it’s going to? To me, showing the tape seal doesn’t do anything but bring suspicion on you/the company and I don’t think you need that. Just open the box, I think you’d get a better outcome?
@@FranchiseKicks well, they’re trolls. I’m just saying, IF a company was going to give you favor…they’d easily do it by not sealing it until they know you’ve bought it OR they’d seal it but put it on a numbered space (or some other away to keep track of the “good boxes”without permanently marking them). I guess “you’re darned if you do, darned if you don’t”?
Why is it every time something goes down in value, you think it is an eBay minipulation. I collect funko's and just don't think the market is as popular after they dumped 60 million into the landfills
Yeah pops in general has dropped alot and it is because funko releases to much, just the amount of freddys released passed 2 years is probably more than the 4 years before that, also fundays and the nft ranger was just a few months ago they were new and flooded value when he bought the box. He never mentions manipulation when something went up :D Its just what the prices are now simple as that, they went down.
@@josegutierrez1968 I don't collect funko pops, I have been open about that for the past 7 years. Yes, I am in it for the reselling aspect and for TH-cam content. I have always been open about that.
Not surprised with the drops, fundays was just a couple months back and so was nft-ranger, u bought the box when they were relatively new and prices had not settled yet, they are always higher in the beginning, also many pops in general has dropped and its funkos fault, they are releasing more pops than ever, just check the amount of freddys released passed 2 years and its probably more freddys than was released over a period of 4 years before that, also fundaypops and some nfts are really dropping, To much stuff releasing to be honest.
Yes, you are correct. That is one reason why I haven't bought out any pop collections in almost 6 months. I don't want to invest any money in pop collections with the value of pops going down.

This clearly doesn't apply to MysteryGrail boxes. I've seen so many misses that I would never roll the dice on their product. I'm honestly surprised they haven't asked him to stop opening them on his channel. How many times can you pay $19 for a common Pop?
Considering how many times these boxes are opened weeks and months after purchase you would think the companies would not take that risk. But you will always get people that are pessimistic. Of course there probably has been the odd loaded box. But its not like its Clints fault. He just opens them for everyones elses entertainment.
