It has proven to be an amazing purchase, helped us become more capable on both the Oset and dirt bikes, along with creating our on TH-cam channel, showing our adventures as a father and son, enjoying being out in the fresh air having fun.
Looking at doing the same, my lad rides a electric dirt bike atm but its just a starter 500w thing, how have you found days out? riding time? do you run with spare batteries for full days? Thinking of a oset 24 for myself and a 16 for my son whos 6
@@SensiVybz we just use the one battery and the two to three hours seems to be enough for what we do. Im you are using like a mountain bike and flat out, then one hour max. We just find an area and make a time trial course or jump play area. All good fun and we have lots of videos withe our time on the Oset on our channel.

NIO have created a battery swap system and have it wideley used in china and now moving to europe, quick switch batterys is the only way we will go i reckon

Frankly, just having a higher capacity could increase the charge rate enough for most use cases on long road trips. The alternative of having swap stations all along all road trip paths is a ton of capital cost versus DCFC at 200++kW. But doing the same for a bike with a battery you can carry and leave an extra at the local friendly general store is brilliant.

For those that actually rode Trial motorcycles .... we all know that clutch is everything. Getting rid of it, and not being able to spin that motor for sudden clutch release .... man this is step back to stone-age. Get a real Trial and start learning basics. Also ... you are not allow to ride EVERYWHERE you like with it. For obvious reasons like safety of others and for all "greee-folks" : you "damage the soil, grass, and precious roots" anyway with the TIRE not EXHAUST. Thumb-down :/.

I should have known this was going to be a commercial. Nothing against an electric bike but I would say most here in the US don't look at motorcycles as a primary source of pollution. Many enthusiasts won't be so willing to give up the sounds and smells as the guy in this video. Land owners dislike the erosion and possible damage to their land more than pollution and the sounds of a bike(s) a mile from their house. Lol you would have startled those women you rode up on - at least with traditional bike they'd have heard you coming.
What happens when the battery runs out and you’re miles from home ? Same problem will emtb but atleast you have pedals to get home ! It’s all about battery range these days .

Also, like your iphone, the battery starts degrading after about 1000 cycles,, And they are mega bucks........ Can these be made road legal????
It's a trials bike. Not about top end speed. It's a bout delivering instant torque from stand-still mainly, so that you can launch up rocks and other obstacles. I promise you it will throw you right over the back if you wrap the throttle from stand still.
it depends on where you live. In most contries, electricity is more and more produced by greener solutions. By the way electric motors are greener than petrol motors as these ones looses 70% of energy in heat.

Just bring a few swappable pre charged batteries with you, enough for your session. Trial is not like you will do a 70 miles A to B... Unless this was all filmed on his private land (I would be surprised if he has a petrol station on his land) then he is braking a stack of laws in this video.
