Antique shop kitty was adorable. Hope you had a good productive vacation.
Well if it didn't have kittens chasing yarn, would it be a sewing box? Looks like an awesome place to shop. I feel so kathy. Lots of glass in this store, ofcourse you love it. So much stuff to look at. A mixer for $35.00 is a great deal. Hope you enjoyed you trip.🎵🤎💞💞💓💓💓🎶🎶💔💗💗💘💗💗💔💔🎶🎶💓💓💞🤎🤎🎵🎵🤎🤎💞💓💓🎶🎶💔💔💗💘💘💘💗💗💔💔🎶🎶💓💓💞💞🤎🤎🤎🎵🎵🎵🤎💞💞💓🎶🎶💔💗💗💘💘💗😻😻😻😻😻😻
Thank you for highlighting my comment. Happy 4th of July.
That was a unique Nativity scene 🙏🛐🙏. I really like it 💗. Maybe they lost, or broke the angel 😇. That's why the 🐑 lamb was up there❓🤔❓
Scott, if you’re ever in Cincinnati again, do yourself a favor and take a break or spent the night at the Netherland Plaza hotel. Union Station is magnificent as well.
Oh yes so I was told. I hear the station is an Art Deco treasure!
Thanks for all the great fun vacation videos. I went on many business trips to Covington KY/ Cincinnati but never had enough time on my own to poke around. Did you see the bridge over the Ohio River between those two cities? It’s a mini prototype of the Brooklyn Bridge. Both were designed and constructed by J. Roebling. Safe travels.
You were in my neck of the woods! Looks like you were at the Brannon Crossing G-will? It's a big one; sometimes good things can be found. I think I've had more luck w clothes there than anything else. Don't fall off that horse! Hope the weather clears up for you.
O O My I 💕 it!
Please let us know the name of the song in the video with all of the bells. I enjoy every time I hear it and have no idea who did it.
I have that Betty Crocker mixer. Worked fantastic until a friend borrowed it and burned the motor up!
This is what the friends are for 😁
I think it would be okay if you chalk paint that nativity scene and make a few other adjustments.
It is already painted and in good condition!
Just a little sarcastic humor. Sheep rising before baby Jesus gets an opportunity? Definitely not my favorite of the purchased items. 😊
What??? Scott, did you say you will be riding a horse? Woo Hoo! Welcome to my equine world! 🐴🤠
Would have enjoyed meeting with you while you were in the Bluegrass state. Watch you regularly and think of you as on old friend. Enjoy our great state!
Scott, did you ride the horse? Do you have it filmed? Please, can we see you riding a horse? I bet you had fun! 😃 I really enjoyed your video!
I love that Nativity!!!
Fun video Scotty! Thanks for sharing!
Good evening Scott 😊❤
Haha! My first job at McDonald’s in the late 70’s we had to mark the order on a paper pad, add them on the register and count back the change. I remember my dad teaching me how to count back change at the dining room table. Funny how your comment reminded me of that.
I like the vintage Nativity you purchased. A great find!! 😊
You guys have had a trip to remember 😊 I've missed your umhum as you shop but you've kept us entertained! Safe travels 🤗
I was born and raised in northeast Ohio. And this evening we’re in Lexington KY for a funeral. So you’ve been so close to where we were. Kinda cool you were in a store with a store kitty. And he was black 🥹.
Scott I’m sooooo glad you enjoyed the mall!!! I knew you would! I spent a whole day there myself with my good friend Darrin when I went to visit him in Ohio last spring! Its so easy to spend the entire day there and “blow the wallet” wide open! 😂 I can’t wait to go back soon!
Hope you have a safe trip home!!!
The nativity is awesome!!! Great find!!! ❤👍🏼
Jeffrey 🥰🥰
Take those carts for a test run.
Looks like my 1924 Tappen
Wow the first booth has so many nice items. And the first cat 🐈 remind me of your cat so cute❤
The assortment of GE electric oscillating fans was my favorite from this video. You should've grabbed one! It would've looked great on the front porch of the bungalow.
He already has one on the porch and yes, it does look great.
My son lives in Georgetown,Ky I’m about 3 hours from Lexington,Ky.are you on vacation?
Hi Scott that antique store is awesome loved the print in the being and that mirror was beautiful loved the old sewing furniture it reminds me of my grandmother she was a professional seamstress always nice score on the Christmas major always injoy watching take care
The Nativity was realy cute! I can't wait for you riding a horse!😃
Pharaohs three....Arabian horses..🐎🐎🐎
Loved, loved, loved the mirror with the print at the top.
I bought that Louie glass pitcher from you! I love the size, style and color! At the time you mentioned another manufacturer who made similar style in that era. Do you remember?
Oh yes....Dunbar alos made glass pitchers like that.
@@oldcuriosityshop265 Yay, that’s it! Their designs in cobalt are almost identical. Thanks Scott, Nina in Michigan (traveling to PA this week, can’t wait!)
It shows the bargains you buy in Philly are AMAZING
I thought you made the right choice about the mirror.
😂😂😂and how did that lamb get up there?
They call it the "ratty hat" ? Nooo
Congratulations on not losing parts of your fingers on that deli slicer. I managed to escape it as well.
When you gave the customer their change did you start with coins first? .45 will give you $8, $9, $10, and $10 will give you $20.
Oh yes.....exactly like that......coins first....just as I was taught on the dinning room table with Monopoly money!
Like the manger a lot!
I can see why you like older items.Quality.I like made in England older products here in England.Quality.
That’s my favorite place to shop ❤
I like weird, sometimes..🤣
Did you ditch the crew and to back to the Ohio Valley mall?
I stopped there on the way but was only able to stay for about 30 min.
I remember having to count change back! I can still do it- unlike my younger coworkers, lol.
I wanted many things from that Ohio shop…glad you returned to it and gave it a full day.🖤🇨🇦
Dear Scott ; There was a radio station that signed off at night playing Lawrence Welk with Lawrence hollering Stop the bubble machine as they sailed away on the charter boat venue.
LOVE the mirror with print attached. Great find with the light up nativity.
That stove would have been wonderful for you! But yours is out there somewhere 💕
I got that same sewing kit for Christmas in the late fifties. Warmed my heart to see it again.
...not sure that is a hat.
Since I collect nativities, I’m covetous of the one you found in Ohio. In all my years of collecting, I’ve never seen such a sweet and unique crèche…LOVE it❣️
