I learned if you toggle the autodrive option you'll go faster if you need to go both downhill or straight uphill, idk why but it pushes me up to 35mph on hills and up to 55 on down slopes in vurhonga.
If you're into quantity over quality this is the perfect strategy! For me it's about the stalk, selecting the absolute best animal, and setting up the perfect ambush on it. However, I do plan to add this strategy to my toolbox if I'd ever want to change my playstyle.

What do you think determines when you start to see diamond animals❓ like a certain account level or a certain amount of kills or what?
I think it’s random. I shot a diamond grey wolf in the Yukon and I was a level 4

I do both, this is what I do when I’m bored or if animals aren’t coming into zones for me
This is also good for when you're tired of seeing the same damn animals every time you explore a certain area
