Technically it's worth noting that it was never truly Amrbose's familiar, it was Father Blackwood's, planted on Ambrose because he KNEW he could take advantage of Ambrose's vulnerability to enact his plans.
Yeah, that should be remembered, still sad though. I like to think Blackwood guessed that Leviathan had switched loyalties and wanted to stay Ambrose's familiar and that that's another reason why he had Zelda kill Leviathan.
