the trick is to pace your breath, I had singing lessons when I was 6 and never since but I need to reach high notes for my aural exams in violin. I like to think of my breath as a timer, and as you go down the song, the timer slowly runs out as a decent pace so you can keep track of your breath. As for breathing, if you dont have a spot, try and do small breaths in between :) this works for me as I can go 30 seconds.

@@heyyimree1028 Maybe because your brain tries to adjust your singing to a specific note that doesn't fit yours (that isn't flattering). For example, if you voice is deeper but the background music isn't and you unconsciously try to adjust it. At least it happens to me :P

if you are here for the 1 breath thing, here are some tips 1. Find out how long your breath has to be, in my case 25 seconds 2. Pace it, dont rush, stay calm, and find a steady pace that works 3. Use your hands to let yourself know how far you have gone 4. Don't breathe with your nose, use your mouth 5. Big breaths aren't neccesary, I find that if I make too big a breath, its too much and I won't make it past my average line 6. give it a good go Im not a professional, just some tips I use to do any singing challenges like this :) I dont have singing lessons or whatnot but these work for me

@@heyyimree1028 Maybe because your brain tries to adjust your singing to a specific note that doesn't fit yours (that isn't flattering). For example, if you voice is deeper but the background music isn't and you unconsciously try to adjust it. At least it happens to me :P

if you are here for the 1 breath thing, here are some tips
1. Find out how long your breath has to be, in my case 25 seconds
2. Pace it, dont rush, stay calm, and find a steady pace that works
3. Use your hands to let yourself know how far you have gone
4. Don't breathe with your nose, use your mouth
5. Big breaths aren't neccesary, I find that if I make too big a breath, its too much and I won't make it past my average line
6. give it a good go
Im not a professional, just some tips I use to do any singing challenges like this :) I dont have singing lessons or whatnot but these work for me
