I have also noticed that they are opposites in another way. The Turn A represents death and destruction with the ELS Quanta representing rebirth and creation. These two mech are basically forces of nature at this point.

For a long time I've had a hard time seeing Quanta ELS as one of the strongest Gundams like everyone else seems to because we've never seen it fight and it doesn't even have weapons. But in hindsight, all the tricks of an ELS including making weapons probably should have been more obvious to me. And now I want it in Extreme Versus.

ELS attack is most dangerous if you recall many gundam series before it. Gundam 00 awakening of trailblazer is put high standar on how powerful an enemy is, by using an alien form that could "corrupt" an unit upon contact (kill the pilot along with it), and they used "kamikaze" attack pattern on top of that. Turn A's moonlight butterfly, double X's satellite cannon, and Reconquista's photon tornado would stop several of ELS swarm, but another swarm would continuously attacking from every side. and now Quanta become ELS, added more on how terrible this unit will be if it became enemy's unit.
What if ELS 00 Qan T have more than 3 attacks? *ELS Seven Sword* Attacks using all the 7 swords in it’s arsenal. *ELS Full Saber* Pulls a ELS GN greatsword from the GN portal and cleaves through the enemy using a t slash. *Trans-am Burst* Literally a Trans-am but with a burst. Blinds the enemy with GN Particles and slashes and dashes from all directions. *ELS Raiser* Pulls out the ELS GN greatsword but uses Quantum Burst to upgrade the sword into a grand, thorny, and epic sword with a swirl of GN Particles (just like 00 Sky). The Raiser forms a V-shaped Raiser beam and slashes the enemy not once but twice.
Alternatively, fire a beam through Quantum Teleportation and then have it appear through whatever angle he wants. Or, use the portals to summon the whole ELS fleet and lay it down to the opposition.

The only Gundam MC who's actually even older than Setsuna is currently Judau from Gundam ZZ. The latter turned out to be still alive well into Victory Gundam and is over 79 years old when he appears in a side story to fight alongside Uso.
Gameplay mechanics aside the way it fights and the abilities it has reminds me a lot of Dark History Turn A. It has the teleportation and weapon summoning, its power source is basically unlimited, and the ELS are basically nanomachine aliens that could easily assimilate or erase everything they touch.

Hey random question: How come THIS version STILL hasnt released as a plastic model kit? Is it because its not exactly a pure gunpla? 030 Mmm...still, it wouldve been very interesting to see. I mean this thing makes Gilgamesh from the Fate series embarrassed (even not admitting it due to his ego... ^^;) So far, i only see the OG qan t, as well as Full Saber (either as a add on or the model kit itself, RG or MG alike) I just came to look back at Gundam 00 (been looking into Fighters, Divers and currently its sequel, Re:Rise...tbh, i only watched the recent ones because some of the mechs are cute/badass like with Beargguy and Mobile Doll Sarah. It definitely seems a lot stronger than Crystal Unicorn. Doesn't have Psycho Shard, but way more range and versatility. Though Trans-Am/Quantum Burst kinda sucks in this game. As a pure support unit Crystal Unicorn was way more OP by ending everyone's turn.

ELS Qan[T] is capable of instant regeneration and infinite self replication. It can also assimilate Moonlight Butterfly and even Turn A itself and mass produce them.
I wouldn't say the machine itself is more powerful, but due to the nature of the ELS species, yeah, ELS 00 is probably the most powerful MS in the franchise. The "ELS assimilates the nanomachines" argument is just headcanon. Could work either way.

the thing is Unicorn can controls time, and by skill perspective it utterly defeats Turn A (Dark History) and ELS QanT (if it chose to). but its also need an OP newtype (maybe one or two souls). In the end its not contest about who won, its the contest of pilots. I would say Unicorns, Turns and ELS QanT is on the same tier if its measure by Unit only, a Pilot can change the whole tier.

Although that fight was awesome when it happened in Spirits, I don't want the exact same final boss AGAIN. I am not disputing the fact that els quanta is powerful however as of now the Cyrstalized Unicron Gundam is more powerful. Unicorn can reverse time and go back to the point when double o quanta first launched and destroy it with space magic even before it can merge with the els thus erasing els quanta from existence. And yes Unicorn Gundam can do that it even reverse the time travel of neo Zeong. Thus, crystal Unicorn can kill els quanta even before the els could absorb the OO quanta. And yes Unicorn can literally do that featwise note: els quanta has no time travel ability or feats. It can only teleport it is has no reality warping powers like the unicorn that bends soul and time and space. Unicorn literally bends reality by creating space and time and turning it back, while in a dimension where time and space no longer exist. YOU CAN WATCH THIS FEAT in the fight between Unicorn vs neo Zeong, there was a scene there where neo Zeong brought the unicorn in the ends of time and space and Unicorn reversed that effect. now for those who argue that Els quanta can copy the reality warping powers of Unicorn; that is extremely false. The els cannot copy something it never touched and assimilated. Hence, the els quanta will never be able to copy the reality altering power of unicorn since the els will never be able to touch and assimilate the unicorn itself since the Psycho energy will block them. And the Els Cannot assimilate energy as seen and proven in the movie when they failed to absorb the incoming laser blast from the Gundams and other mobile suit. And even if they manage to absorb the Psycho energy they will never be able to use it since only a Perfect New type who is Banagher can use the reality bending power of psyco energy, and the no-limits-fallacy is not applicable here, since it is the basic property of psyco energy that it can only be fully utilized by a Perfect New type such as Banagher unfortunately Setsuna and the els are NOT new type let alone Perfect New types.Because of this they will not be able to bypass the psyco energy and copy its reality bending powers and due to this they will not also be able to touch and assimilate unicorn and Banagher. And if you're talking about the time wave that reverted feddie suits reactors back in time, it is not plausible. The ELS forces we saw in the movie is only a scout team. They are scattered throughout space and Unicorn would have to time wave all of them at once to revert them back. So as long as there are unaffected ELS units, they are linked by quantum brainwaves which is unbound by space as explained by Ian Vashti, any reverted ELS units will instant gain their abilities back because the other ELS units "know". And once they experienced the time wave, they will be able to produce counter measures against it. And the ELS we saw in the movie isn't exactly at their full powers because they were only mimicking humans. I have a referenced writeup on all their abilities and history if you would like me to share it, but it's a long writeup so let me know if you really want to read it, I'll reply it here.

First off, ELS QAN[T] has no feats what so ever, and literally nothing supporting that it would even be able to phase Turn A in the slightest Secondly, Turn A is THOUSANDS of years more advanced then QAN[T], which people seem to forget, and Turn A’s nanites are far more advanced than the ELS themselves. Turn A is an entirely different spectrum from any other Gundam in the franchise
Its honestly just basic science. Because els has the ability to assimilate things and is able to reach a quantum state. As for turn A can only go as far as a nano meter (refering to the nanites). Quantum realm in physics is called the realm of infinite possibilities where a particle can be at any places at a given time. Quantizing in Gundam OO is "moving through highly condensed and purified GN Particles like a gateway to achieve faster than light travel", in other words turning into GN particles to move around. That by the way is also stated in the very same encylopedia word for word. First of all, who starts a post insulting people by calling them mental? Second of all, you can't stop people from making basic logical guesses based on what we know about the machines in question. The 00-Raiser and the 00-Qan[T] were already bordering the line between Real Robot and Super Robot all without proper Newtype Hax being a factor. The ELS-Qan[T] on the other hand straight up IS a Super Robot. It has the ability to spawn any weapon it wishes, teleport from short distances to a galactic scale, can assimilate enemy units and replicate their abilities (which makes usage of the Moonlight Butterfly questionable), has firepower capable of cutting a moon sized objects in its original base form, can regenerate damage provided its main core is intact and even in the event that it's destroyed it can be easily replaced by the ELS spawning in another ELS-Qan[T]. If that's not enough the ELS can just summon an entire army of the damn thing since we see them doing just that in the movie after they assimilated ESF and Celestial Being mecha in both the movie and the manga version. There's also Trans-Am which is basically going Super Saiyan for the Qan[T] at that point. The ELS by themselves are also inherently psychic and can give mental damage to other psychics just by being near them. They did this on accident to Setsuna when tried communicating with them, so a concentrated attack would likely be even more devastating. And thing is, there's no actual defense for this either. Setsuna had to bypass it by adding a VEDA terminal to the 00-Qan[T] which helped reduce the strain on his mind. Seeing as the Dark History Turn A Gundam requires a psychic (aka a Newtype) to pilot it in order to unlock its power, that puts them in a very vulnerable spot. On a side note, Setsuna's abilities in itself also go as far as apparently "resurrecting the dead" as he does this with the original Lockon, Neil, after finding his soul in what was essentially purgatory and recruits him back into Celestial Being in the 10th anniversary Re:Birth short. That begs the question of what else Setsuna can do since he's now basically capable of outright bypassing life and death itself, and this was before he apparently fully became part of the ELS too since he still looked like his regular self when he did it. Knowing all that, is it really that surprising that people are convinced it can match up to the Turn A? Anything the Turn A can do, the ELS-Qan[T] can basically do as well if not better. The apparent tech age gap is a moot point too because the ELS-Qan[T] is not limited by technology (as it's essentially a living organism that can constantly adapt thanks to the ELS), and pilot wise you also can't get any better than ELS-Setsuna either. The Dark History Turn A would need an excellent pilot with appropriate bullshit similar to ELS-Setsuna in order to match up.

The only Gundam MC who's actually even older than Setsuna is currently Judau from Gundam ZZ. The latter turned out to be still alive well into Victory Gundam and is over 79 years old when he appears in a side story to fight alongside Uso.
Gameplay mechanics aside the way it fights and the abilities it has reminds me a lot of Dark History Turn A.
It has the teleportation and weapon summoning, its power source is basically unlimited, and the ELS are basically nanomachine aliens that could easily assimilate or erase everything they touch.

I just came to look back at Gundam 00 (been looking into Fighters, Divers and currently its sequel, Re:Rise...tbh, i only watched the recent ones because some of the mechs are cute/badass like with Beargguy and Mobile Doll Sarah. Waiting for MD May to release soon). Been a long while though. Didnt even noticed how OP these mechs were, as well as those who wield these things ^^;
Think it's due to it's very complex look. I feel there are some parts in this Gundam that are complicated to print out.

It definitely seems a lot stronger than Crystal Unicorn. Doesn't have Psycho Shard, but way more range and versatility. Though Trans-Am/Quantum Burst kinda sucks in this game. As a pure support unit Crystal Unicorn was way more OP by ending everyone's turn.
Luminous Crystal Unicorn bypassed every def tho, and completely nullified range weapons

I wouldn't say the machine itself is more powerful, but due to the nature of the ELS species, yeah, ELS 00 is probably the most powerful MS in the franchise. The "ELS assimilates the nanomachines" argument is just headcanon. Could work either way.

I am not disputing the fact that els quanta is powerful however as of now the Cyrstalized Unicron Gundam is more powerful.
Unicorn can reverse time and go back to the point when double o quanta first launched and destroy it with space magic even before it can merge with the els thus erasing els quanta from existence. And yes Unicorn Gundam can do that it even reverse the time travel of neo Zeong.
Thus, crystal Unicorn can kill els quanta even before the els could absorb the OO quanta. And yes Unicorn can literally do that featwise
note: els quanta has no time travel ability or feats. It can only teleport it is has no reality warping powers like the unicorn that bends soul and time and space. Unicorn literally bends reality by creating space and time and turning it back, while in a dimension where time and space no longer exist. YOU CAN WATCH THIS FEAT in the fight between Unicorn vs neo Zeong, there was a scene there where neo Zeong brought the unicorn in the ends of time and space and Unicorn reversed that effect.
now for those who argue that Els quanta can copy the reality warping powers of Unicorn; that is extremely false. The els cannot copy something it never touched and assimilated. Hence, the els quanta will never be able to copy the reality altering power of unicorn since the els will never be able to touch and assimilate the unicorn itself since the Psycho energy will block them. And the Els Cannot assimilate energy as seen and proven in the movie when they failed to absorb the incoming laser blast from the Gundams and other mobile suit. And even if they manage to absorb the Psycho energy they will never be able to use it since only a Perfect New type who is Banagher can use the reality bending power of psyco energy, and the no-limits-fallacy is not applicable here, since it is the basic property of psyco energy that it can only be fully utilized by a Perfect New type such as Banagher unfortunately Setsuna and the els are NOT new type let alone Perfect New types.Because of this they will not be able to bypass the psyco energy and copy its reality bending powers and due to this they will not also be able to touch and assimilate unicorn and Banagher.

Saying that els quanta will be able to copy the reality warping power of Cyrstalized unicorn when you know for a fact that the els will not be able to assimilate or even touch the unicorn Gundam is just pure falsity.
Additionally, If the els quanta tries to touch or even assimilate Crystalized unicorn, the els quanta will be disintegrated since the unicorn gundam can easily disintegrate
an enemy with its psycho energy. A demonstration of this power is when unicorn gundam disintegrated neo Zeong piloted by Full Frontal with its burst of psycho energy. Thus, the moment the els quanta tries to assimilate crystalized unicorn it will instantly be disintegrated. On top of that, the Crystalized unicorn can easily disable the els quanta with its space magic since the els quanta still has an engine given the fact that it can still use the trans am mode which requires a solar furnace or gn engine to operate hence the space magic of unicorn will easily shutdown ESL quanta
I respect your admiration for Unicorn but this entire argument collapses in on itself because Unicorn and Neo Zeong didn't time travel, it was only a vision. Unicorn can't time travel.

And if you're talking about the time wave that reverted feddie suits reactors back in time, it is not plausible. The ELS forces we saw in the movie is only a scout team. They are scattered throughout space and Unicorn would have to time wave all of them at once to revert them back. So as long as there are unaffected ELS units, they are linked by quantum brainwaves which is unbound by space as explained by Ian Vashti, any reverted ELS units will instant gain their abilities back because the other ELS units "know". And once they experienced the time wave, they will be able to produce counter measures against it.
And the ELS we saw in the movie isn't exactly at their full powers because they were only mimicking humans. I have a referenced writeup on all their abilities and history if you would like me to share it, but it's a long writeup so let me know if you really want to read it, I'll reply it here.

First off, ELS QAN[T] has no feats what so ever, and literally nothing supporting that it would even be able to phase Turn A in the slightest
Secondly, Turn A is THOUSANDS of years more advanced then QAN[T], which people seem to forget, and Turn A’s nanites are far more advanced than the ELS themselves. Turn A is an entirely different spectrum from any other Gundam in the franchise
Its honestly just basic science. Because els has the ability to assimilate things and is able to reach a quantum state. As for turn A can only go as far as a nano meter (refering to the nanites). Quantum realm in physics is called the realm of infinite possibilities where a particle can be at any places at a given time. Basically you need to enter college first and get a physics degree amd that'll change your mind.

Regardless of what the ELS can do, they have no defense what so ever against it and have never demonstrated the ability to defend it. Turn A’s nanites can completely assimilate and break down technology ALL technology, create barriers capable of stopping world destroying colony lasers, and until the ELS demonstrate that they can regenerate entire people and robots from single molecules like Turn A can, they’re not remotely on the same level as Turn A’s nanites

@@aleidpalentinos1256 and clearly you are uneducated on gundam lore because it's very specifically stated what level the ELS operate at in the official gundam encyclopedia and it's the atomic level, the same exact level that the same encylopedia states that Turn A's nanites operate at. But I'm sure you saw the word "Quantization" and "Quantum teleport" and somehow thought that meant the quantum world, which is also false. Quantizing in Gundam OO is "moving through highly condensed and purified GN Particles like a gateway to achieve faster than light travel", in other words turning into GN particles to move around. That by the way is also stated in the very same encylopedia word for word.

First of all, who starts a post insulting people by calling them mental? Second of all, you can't stop people from making basic logical guesses based on what we know about the machines in question. The 00-Raiser and the 00-Qan[T] were already bordering the line between Real Robot and Super Robot all without proper Newtype Hax being a factor. The ELS-Qan[T] on the other hand straight up IS a Super Robot.
It has the ability to spawn any weapon it wishes, teleport from short distances to a galactic scale, can assimilate enemy units and replicate their abilities (which makes usage of the Moonlight Butterfly questionable), has firepower capable of cutting a moon sized objects in its original base form, can regenerate damage provided its main core is intact and even in the event that it's destroyed it can be easily replaced by the ELS spawning in another ELS-Qan[T]. If that's not enough the ELS can just summon an entire army of the damn thing since we see them doing just that in the movie after they assimilated ESF and Celestial Being mecha in both the movie and the manga version. There's also Trans-Am which is basically going Super Saiyan for the Qan[T] at that point.
The ELS by themselves are also inherently psychic and can give mental damage to other psychics just by being near them. They did this on accident to Setsuna when tried communicating with them, so a concentrated attack would likely be even more devastating. And thing is, there's no actual defense for this either. Setsuna had to bypass it by adding a VEDA terminal to the 00-Qan[T] which helped reduce the strain on his mind. Seeing as the Dark History Turn A Gundam requires a psychic (aka a Newtype) to pilot it in order to unlock its power, that puts them in a very vulnerable spot.
On a side note, Setsuna's abilities in itself also go as far as apparently "resurrecting the dead" as he does this with the original Lockon, Neil, after finding his soul in what was essentially purgatory and recruits him back into Celestial Being in the 10th anniversary Re:Birth short. That begs the question of what else Setsuna can do since he's now basically capable of outright bypassing life and death itself, and this was before he apparently fully became part of the ELS too since he still looked like his regular self when he did it.
Knowing all that, is it really that surprising that people are convinced it can match up to the Turn A? Anything the Turn A can do, the ELS-Qan[T] can basically do as well if not better. The apparent tech age gap is a moot point too because the ELS-Qan[T] is not limited by technology (as it's essentially a living organism that can constantly adapt thanks to the ELS), and pilot wise you also can't get any better than ELS-Setsuna either. The Dark History Turn A would need an excellent pilot with appropriate bullshit similar to ELS-Setsuna in order to match up.
