#imadeit and great video. I prefer the pro. I see the mini not as an iPad but as a tablet and in the past that's how Apple used to describe it. I don't want a tablet I want an iPad. That being said, I don't want a pro so much as I want the better screen ability to play some games etc. Hence yes my next iPad will be a 13" pro as I don't own a laptop but an iMac; which I'll replace with a Mac mini. You kind of hinted at it, but the way I see it if you have a laptop, get an 11" if you have a desktop get a 13" unless holding it in your hands is a must.

I will prefer the ipadmini as the compact size & AI features available allows to be very portable and be more productive .
I will use ipadmini more often than ipad pro, so i will prefer ipad mini.
For pro works i will be using my macbook pro M4. I use ipad mini for specific ipad handwritting notes browsing and other works.

Just upgraded from the 2019 5th Gen iPad Mini to the new one. It’s the size that works for me - anything bigger would probably spend its life in a drawer - and really complements my Product Red iPhone 13 Mini.
    Thanks for the content.

As somebody who has a 15 pro max with pro motion, I absolutely cannot use a regular iPhone without pro motion, but I also have an iPad mini 6 & a MacBook Air which run at 60Hz & trust me, the lesser refresh rate doesn’t matter nearly as much as they say it does. I can totally appreciate pro motion but the bigger the screen gets, the lesser it matters. Also, if you’re going to use your iPad for media consumption, that’s going to run at less than 60Hz any way! The big iPads feel too big to need since I started using the mini. It’s truly the best iPad.

I have a 120hz iPhone and a 120Hz monitor for my M1 Macbook Air and after switching between those devices and my mini 6 I barely notice a difference at all after 5 mins of using it lol

iPad Ini is sooo underrated. Just got it 4 days ago and love it to the bit.

Since my iPad 11” M2 is my main computer I couldn’t just replace it with the Mini. The screen and the processor is just too good.
However, I am thinking about getting a Mini 6 to use as a note taking, gaming, and TH-cam watching device on the go, as the iPad Pro is still bulkier and heavier than what I want to carry around these days.

I use a 5th Gen iPad Pro 12.9 and it’s perfect for me. From media consumption to content creation it checks all the boxes ✅

I think there might be an issue with the title of your video. Is it meant to be a comparison with the iPad Pro? Or is it to show that you switched from the iPad Pro to the iPad Mini? Or is it to say that the iPad Pro is better than the iPad Mini, which is obvious and everyone knows it. However, people buy the iPad Mini because of its compact size. I would appreciate it if you could clarify your idea, as I didn’t quite understand it.

I love that you had the Raptors game up.
    Cheers fellow Toronto mans. 👊🏾
Back on topic… I’ve owned both, and have gravitated toward the 11” form factor. So my current daily driver is the M2 11” iPad Air.

Another option for you is the entry-level iPad 10. It has a bigger screen and is cheaper than the iPad mini

I’m glad I traded in my iPad Pro m1 11” for the mini. I find that I use my MacBook Air more if I need to do more productivity I’m just an average user. 😊

SPOT On !! Terren stumbled on this video - you have a NEW subscriber! I kept waffling between the 13” and 11” but I find that I use the Mini for most of the content consumption. I went back to the 13” (from the 11”) because I use it more than the MacBook (I kept wanting to touch the screen for most of my work on the laptop 😊) in any case unless Apple starts making a 12” (a little smaller than the 13”, large enough for productivity but still small enough (I think) to carry all the time I am keeping my Mini and carry it with me everyone. Thank you I appreciate your perspective and proves I am NOT crazy 😅(well my wife still thinks I am) - Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Many Blessings to you and your Family in 2025!

Horribly jarring? I guess we all have our own used cases and that seems a bit jarring for a response.😅

I am a casual user, if you are reading apple book or when screen is static it's fine but it's a touch screen device interacting & scrolling is sooo bad it will give you headache. Texts are unreadable even scrolling super slow. It's super dim outside. I wanted to like it but I am not going to defend how bad it is. My 3yr old 13 pro max feels like light years ahead comparing to mini screen.
