“Loads of barber shops, but not many barbers...”. Well spoken sir! Especially true here in the states, we have many salons for men, staffed with stylists and cosmetologists. Very few barbers to be found.
Fade is squished, this is what happens when you set your bald line too high and try and make it look like a mid fade when it really should of been a high fade with the first bald line.
Dániel Oláh Clearly not a barber? If I was a barber I’d be honest, straight up & say cmon mate your time has come. Who skin fades into a horseshoe? Very very odd
Charlie G I’d like to think of myself as being a ‘very cut throat’ barber. Honesty is key but of course I’d deliver on the customers wishes if they (following my honesty) declined to listen

Beardbrand can any of these barbers open up a new barbershop location in Toronto, Canada? Would love a local Gentleman & Rogues, South Austin, Dapper Den, Philadelphia Co. Barbershop or any of the other amazing barbershops featured in these Beardbrand TH-cam videos.
Me i ask sir..do you have available cordless detailer? Becouse i really need that athough second..i really dream that unit because i am a barber, i really practice how to be a pro barber..i am from the philippines..i hope they have some good people to gaving me that unit..although second.
God I love this channel because I'll be starting to work at a all men's cuts shop next year so these put me at ease and I was scared of men's cuts when I started school
I’m a barber too, although I admire how confident you are in this technique I just don’t think it’s practical 🤷♀️ you can get similar results (and better in some cases) with techniques that aren’t so lengthy.
Definitely! Hi he detail, commentary and finish are always to the highest standard. Curious to why his stations moved from the back to the front of the shop?
We can't say for sure as to why Dave moved to the front of the store but I believe it had to do with him being annoyed with the uneven lighting in the back of the shop. - Jack
I personally like the European fades, it’s a different take on them with more weight rather than a flush blend found in American fades. That is a slick haircut that’ll grow out well though, unlike some American barbers that cut into the hairline just to get a sharp line for instagram. That cowlick seemed tricky though...
I agree. There's nothing wrong with either. Just because the blend isn't as smooth, it looks heavier or the transition zone isn't very big, doesn't mean it's a bad haircut. All due respect to American style barbers too, their blending skills are killer. The scissor cutting on this channel is so helpful, much more of a salon reality for stylists like myself.
I need a video to get my haircut like the guy with the pink shirt in the back. And if you don't mind, an extra... I need to know what kinda haircut is wearing John Shelby from the Peaky Blinders series. Also recommend this series to you. I'm from Mexico and the barbers here don't understand the style. Thank you and congratulations! Your works are amazing.
Kevin Morales saludos, es un high rise skin, comb over, disconnected (el de Peaky). Y tienes razón, en México les cuesta mucho entender, falta cultura.
I question my fading skills sometimes but after watching this video and seeing the comments rating this haircut I feel I’m doing alright, and I don’t mean that in a disrespectful way I’m genuinely feeling more confident now.
Beardbrand thing is, he went slow with little progress. There still needs more blending to it. He focused way too much on the foil part with the microscopic skin length lol. Which then went unnoticed after the haircut was finished
You need more practice on your fade work, stretch it out more, this has more of the bowel effect and this is not a faux hawk btw, love the texturizing though.
Love the leather smock/coveralls....where can I purchase one from? Great video, I'm starting to pick up a number of caucasian clients and these videos have helped me tremendously! Thank you!!!
The barber is speaking truths though, towns are saturated with barber shops but not enough traditional master barbers. Personally I have my sides blade shaved as I had a dreadhawk, but I would get a fade done by these guys.
Funny how beauty varies from place to place. I understand now that no sharp outline or "natural" look is preferred there so it's good then. Just here to see how they handle the extremely long hair and comb overs.
I didn't take the time to read all of the comments on this video, but being a barber myself, the video of this haircut shows this barber doing double the work. He made a skin guideline and then another guideline under the skin guideline and then another guideline using the foil shaver and then another blend between the shaver line and the other guideline. It's just a waste of time. I don't know how many clients this barber has waiting or if he's by appt only but he added about 15 minutes to this cut unnecessarily. I don't care what kind of bald fade ur doing, there is a universal process to start. 1. Use trimmers to make skin guideline. 2. Use foil shaver up to about a half inch from skin guideline and flick to make sure ur not creating another guideline from the shaver. 3. Go right into blending with the magic clips open, and then blend down to that skin guideline until the magic clip blade is closed. Once you get to the crown of the head, it should be scissor over comb, cuz a faux hawk goes higher on the crown. That's the kind of hairstyle it is. This cut shouldn't take anymore than 35 minutes.

He didn't fade the first line still need more work
Finally a good fade. And this barber is making alot progress also respect to him!
I agree with you 10000%
I am sure this hair cut is very expensive.
This is not a good fade. It’s not even blended
Blending of the fade could be better, the line looks a bit heavy for a fade
Tommy Brenk - should’ve gone to specsavers!!! 🤓
These barber shop videos never cease to fascinate me. 👍🎩
We'll keep 'em coming!
- Jack
Friend: Can you come out for a few drinks?
Me: Nah I’m watching a fella get his haircut on TH-cam
Where's the joke
@@zarrowthehorse r/woooosh
Favorite barber so far 🙌 Beyond articulated and concise with his words and about his process and strategy going about the hair.
I like watching this guy to see how bad the cut turns out
James Tyler they can’t fade for sh i t I can do a better fade I’m myself
Agree
Legit😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Mocking it 😂😂😂😂
“Loads of barber shops, but not many barbers...”. Well spoken sir! Especially true here in the states, we have many salons for men, staffed with stylists and cosmetologists. Very few barbers to be found.
Only barber on this channel who’s improving with his fade
Learning to properly cut hair amd practicing solely from these videos. Will give Beard Brand the cred in the future.
Joaquin Jimenez I will check him out. Thank you.
daves the best barber on the channel imo
I love @beardbrand because it give me some ideas for my hairstyles
That's awesome to hear!
- Jack
Fade is squished, this is what happens when you set your bald line too high and try and make it look like a mid fade when it really should of been a high fade with the first bald line.
Too compressed
This client has the best canvas ever to do a fade on ! :D sick fade!
Barbers who take their time are they best barbers because your haircut tends to look proper when leaving
Definitely the sickest barber shop I’ve ever been to
I like the way you put a line around the head with the foil shaver. Good tip ill be doing that going forward 👍
i did that to my best friend now he is single
🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
🤣im dying
Now that’s a slick fade 👌🏼 Wish my barbers would spend as much time on my fades as you!
Quality Fade, Well done to the Barber!
Is there a part 2 where he fades the hair?
For 1 people on here shouldn’t be commenting unless it’s 360 jeezy himself. He went over the top on that blend. Great job on the blend.
Awesome video with great detail! Love the look of the shop as well
Dave is a true artist. Love his work.
14:13 that guy leaving the chair in the background wtf has he done to him? Looks like a skin fade into a horseshoe? Dear lord.
Well sir, that would cost u 40 bucks :D
😂😂😂😂
What can he do if the client asked for that? You are clearly not a barber.
Dániel Oláh

Definitely interested in this guys!!
Come along way since college days! Keep it up 👌🏼
That is a beautiful fade... I need that in my life
God I love this channel because I'll be starting to work at a all men's cuts shop next year so these put me at ease and I was scared of men's cuts when I started school
Congratulations man!! ..from Greece
All that effort and it will grow out within 24 hours 😜😉
Superb barber 👌
That’s a really good haircut! Masterfully done brotha!
Expect no less from the very talented Dave banks!
- Jack
Man, that's a super awesome haircut. Perfect fade!
This barber is an amazing teacher 👌👌👌👌 thank you
I’m a barber too, although I admire how confident you are in this technique I just don’t think it’s practical 🤷♀️ you can get similar results (and better in some cases) with techniques that aren’t so lengthy.
Yeah well post the link
Bruv best haircut I’ve seen good job mate
Top cut from a top lad!
- Jack
These barbers are so well educated
His fades are always spot on. Hard to master but he owns it
Dave always gives a dope fade, doesn't he?
- Jack
Definitely! Hi he detail, commentary and finish are always to the highest standard. Curious to why his stations moved from the back to the front of the shop?
We can't say for sure as to why Dave moved to the front of the store but I believe it had to do with him being annoyed with the uneven lighting in the back of the shop.

Just me being nosey but that makes sense haha. Good light = smashing fades

It seems like the European fade style is a bit more laid back, the transitions aren't so dramatic

Excellent haircut
But very expensive probably
Looks great. Very timely, but great result.
U got some serious skills bro
Super clean fade. Well done!
Man your cuts are unique one of the best I seen. How long does it take you to do a cut like this?
Nice clean cut...from Philly good work
Best barber on TH-cam this guy 👍🏻
very beautiful haircut brother
I question my fading skills sometimes but after watching this video and seeing the comments rating this haircut I feel I’m doing alright, and I don’t mean that in a disrespectful way I’m genuinely feeling more confident now.
I think this is the first real fade I’ve seen on this channel. Still not on the level of the American barbers like jeezy or Jorge zepeda
The fades are definitly not on the same level true. But the haircuts look a gazilion times better, none of that sharp line unnatural looking bullshit.
Yh but some of the haircuts on here look like they can’t even be bothered to fade
That’s true about the fades but what the Europeans have is that they do good textured messy haircuts, crop haircuts and they feather really good.
Bro I would ask for my money back after this, he didn’t cut the crown correct at all he left too much hair in the back
Christian - give me another word that can substitute fade. I can't come up with one as "fade" is the best word. Could go for rough fade or something.
Good haircut, your method is very slow tho.
Dave, and the other barbers, are typically much faster. They slow things down to explain them for the videos.
- Jack
A slow and good haircut is better than a fast, half arsed haircut anyway. There’s something relaxing about having a haircut so I don’t mind slow cuts.
@Charlie Joost LGBTQ and what
View nice

Awesome haircut. Aesthetic.
Nice and very easy to understand
Fantastic blend
Such a clean fade , great job !!
When did getting a haircut become so difficult and technical ? Lol just asking
That’s a damn good technique on that bottom line 👍🏾 good cut bro 💯💈💺👌🏾
This Barber is Hella Good!
That fade is so clean it's amazing
Maaaad skills! Nice and tight on the corners...
Love the leather smock/coveralls....where can I purchase one from? Great video, I'm starting to pick up a number of caucasian clients and these videos have helped me tremendously! Thank you!!!
This haircut + adidas chlotes = sick fotball player
Beardbrand son los mejores saludos desde México 🇲🇽

We all need a little Dave Banks in our lives.
- Jack
Such a nice haircut
He work so clean 😍

This is the style. Warren Phillips rocks this fade 100% check it out
Well done !
Possibly my favorite cut ever on this channel. Great work!
Awesome job, Dave! Great video, Beardbrand! 👍
That thumbnail crispy
How did beard brand get connected with a barbershop all the way across the world?..pretty impressive
Love this cut so I do my hair like this
Good job man.
As a barber myself, the blend wasn't finished
The barber is speaking truths though, towns are saturated with barber shops but not enough traditional master barbers. Personally I have my sides blade shaved as I had a dreadhawk, but I would get a fade done by these guys.

This Hair cut is in Germany called Topfschnitt = Pot cut
Fantastic hair
Nice vid, very detailed
Great job 👏🏼

Nice haircut
Nice to see someone else using the andis foil attachment. 😁
Who got the chicken soup to go with that bowl cut?
A good hairdresser leaves no line and fades better
where is this barbershop I need to go visit having trouble with my skin fades
I like Daves hair
Dave's rocking a cool style these days
- Jack
It's not my kind of fade, but I can see that it's still a good one, just a different style of fade, from a different culture. Nice work!
Finding the oscipital bone is great but ur fade also has to match the shape of the parietal ridge(s)
Spot on
Hair cut need it more blend look like a chilly bowl
This is a short fade so it doesnt need more blend
Good taking
This has to be the nicest fade I've ever seen on this channel. Great work
his hair has perfect texture and courseness
Definitely!
- Jack
How long does a cut like this last? I shave my face in the morning and I’ve got more than a “foil” that night!!?
Awesome...i needs this bro
Best. Top skills, good man
when blending the line with shavers and trimmers, tell your viewers to pull the skin as you did in the video, thats also important
Yes! I've noticed tutorials miss many details but the main advice I can give people is to keep practicing.
Looking good!
