ภัทร หนุ่มทะเล้น กากเกรียน และ ปราณ หนุ่มเนี้ยบ มาดคุณชาย ผู้ที่ถูกฟ้าลิขิตให้เป็นศัตรูกันตั้งแต่ยังไม่เห็นหน้า เพราะพ่อแม่เปิดร้านอุปกรณ์ก่อสร้างอยู่ข้างกัน แข่งกันตัดราคา แย่งลูกน้อง เกลียดกันชนิดไม่เผาผี ทำให้ทั้งคู่ถูกวางตัวเป็นคู่แข่งกันตั้งแต่เกิด ไม่ว่าใครคลานได้ก่อน เดินได้ก่อน เรียกพ่อแม่ได้ก่อน ทุกอย่างล้วนถูกเอามาเปรียบเทียบเกทับกัน
แต่วันหนึ่งตอนที่ทั้งคู่อายุ 12 ปี กำแพงความเกลียดชังของทั้งคู่ก็เริ่มมีรอยร้าว เมื่อ ภา น้องสาวของภัทรขี่จักรยานพลัดตกน้ำในคลองหมู่บ้าน ระหว่างที่ภัทรยังทำอะไรไม่ถูก เป็นปราณที่กระโจนลงน้ำไปช่วยภาขึ้นมา เหตุการณ์นั้นก็ทำให้ความสัมพันธ์ของคนทั้งคู่เปลี่ยนไป แม้ภายนอกจะดูเป็นคู่แข่งกันเหมือนเดิม แต่ลึกๆ ข้างในก็ไม่เกลียดชังกันเท่าเดิม
จน ม.3 อาจารย์ให้ทั้งคู่ฟอร์มวงดนตรีด้วยกัน ทำให้ทั้งคู่ต้องใกล้ชิดกันมากขึ้น
4 ปีต่อมา โชคชะตาก็เล่นตลกเมื่อส่งให้ ภัทร เข้าเรียนปี1 เป็นประธานรุ่นฝั่งวิศวะ ขณะที่ ปราณ เป็นประธานรุ่นคณะสถาปัตย์ โดยที่ทั้ง 2 คณะเป็นคู่แค้นกันมานาน ทำให้ภัทรและปราณต้องกลับมาตีกันอีกครั้ง เมื่อภารู้เรื่อง ก็วีนแตก ยื่นคำขาดห้ามภัทรทำร้ายปราณเด็ดขาด เพราะบุญคุณที่เคยช่วยไว้ ทำให้ภัทรไปขอทำข้อตกลงกับปราณว่าจะแอบแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล เพื่อหาทางหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ให้ทั้ง 2 คณะทะเลาะกัน ปราณเองก็ไม่ชอบมีเรื่องเลยยอมตกลง
ทำให้ทั้งคู่เริ่ม “ความสัมพันธ์แบบลับๆ” ที่จะเป็นเพื่อนก็ไม่ใช่ ศัตรูก็ไม่เชิง แต่บันเทิงใจคนดู
สุดท้ายแล้วมิตรภาพบนความขัดแย้งของภัทรและปราณจะไปสิ้นสุดที่ตรงไหน ความลับจะแตกลงเมื่อไหร่ พ่อแม่จะยอมรับหรือไม่ หรือสุดท้ายจะมีวันที่ความขัดแย้งคลี่คลายหรือไม่

Rewatching the breakfast scene confirms that Pat's such a typical dog personality. His good opinon of people is based on how nice they smell, he's completely immune to others' criticism and bad temper, plus he steals Pran's food off the plate as quickly as my parents' dogs do the moment I look away from the table. Pran on the other hand is definitely a cat personality. He always plays with his claws out, and Pat can't force him to do anything - he always has to wait until Pran decides to come to him, and also let Pran pretend that he didn't care anyways. 🐶♥️🐱

100% sure Ink is the cupid. It seems like she could be the bridge between both of them and will make Pat realise his true feelings. Rather than using a girl to break two off makers are actually using her character for a positive story development cuz without her Pat wouldn't have anyone to compare with Pran and differentiate his feelings for Pran thus remaining oblivious to his feelings. I feel this is great as now Par would draw parallel between his moments with her and thus will realise the value and importance of his equation with Pran. Also Ink genuinely seems nice and I get positive vibes from her. Hope she doesn't get caught up in a lot of drama and remains a friend to both Pran and Pat at the end. The story is not that unique but I feel the execution in terms of direction and acting is so fresh and spot on. Keep it up guys ❤️

The thing is during the breakfast steal scene Nanon (Pran) puts too much condensed milk on the bread and if you look carefully you can see it drips every where Ohm (Pat) is upset because he does not like to get messy, but he never breaks character. He flawlessly delivers Pat's carefree and light-hearted character. Then proceeded to chase down Nanon, who kind of did it on purpose, after the scene. It's impressive.

I like this recent trend in BL where the obligatory “girl character” isn’t just a stereotypical demonised villain with borderline antisocial tendencies but more of a rounded character that leads to character development in a more positive way.
Nonetheless, I feel like that archetype is still kinda trapped in being there only to accelerate the relationship between the leads, it’d be nice if they start to creatively craft characters that don’t feel like they just stepped off of the same assembly line (e.g. make it one of the lead’s buddies who hastens development or make the girl character actually have a romance plotline herself that perhaps parallels the one of the mains and makes them realise their own feelings by thinking about a situation similar to theirs in another perspective)
I literally dropped bls because of that. Women deserve better characters

When pat said "na na na na" and acted cute, I remember Kao acting exactly the same to Pete. I miss them so so much
Ohm and Nanon are both really TALENTED and AMAZING actors. Wow! I already know they are amazing from previous series but I was still left in awe with the chemistry of having them together as a couple.
Their acting is deep yet very relatable. Ohm gives you that raw and powerful emotions while Nanon's charm is his pure and subtle expressions. I'm especially amazed how Nanon can transform one emotion to the next eith precision. He is really superb! Meanwhile Ohm's aura and charm on screen is really strong.
BAD BUDDY series is easily taking the spot for my favorite BL series of all time!
Just dropping this here: Pat's hair in the morning is a masterpiece.
