Last time I made toast, I heard them... At first, it appeared as a mere whisper. Though, as the scent of the cooking bread grew stronger, so to did those voices. Bellowing together as they rose into an astronomical roar, reverberating through the corridors of my fragile psyche. The sound of the toaster pops, but I am unaware, as I slip into the 4th dimension where all that exists is toast. Before I know it I awoke in my bed in the dead of night. It’s quiet now. The smell of scorched bread fills the air.
@@AsAboveISoBelow then they repeat this procedure everyday. Satan may not be totally evil but that doesnt mean he's not. If that little boy doesnt doesn't make the damn toast, Oh no.
This isn't just music. The sounds create rooms, halls, ruins and hidden towers in the midst of cities or jungles in my mind. How can anybody neglect such sweet sounds. It's sad that there is such a "small" scene in that area...
+Ryan Huss That's funny, I created this dark ambient mix in part because I wanted something truly dark while playing Dark Souls 3 and asked the community for suggestions. Finally finished DS3 as a Shield-Tank this weekend.
I had the chance to listen to parts of these ambient mixes, I really enjoyed it especially hearing the voices of Aliester Crowley. I am new to listening to Cryo Chamber.
Or for me when i need to put my mind in a darker place to think of ways to torment my players in my low fantasy death spiral 5e game. May they stave off the effects of the curse for yet one more day...or their character sheets are mine....(death revenants are a thing)
I prefer to think of it as wired differently.... I'm a (more often than not) perfectly normal, non-goth, average Joe but I'm also an industrial metal musician (Shadowcell Theory) that absolutely loves music like this (for reasons that you described). I also love rainy/gloomy days but get slightly bummed when it's bright and sunny outside lol....
The 3D audio effect starting at 9:40 is incredible. I keep listening to it over and over and the voice still sounds like it's coming from way behind me.
Using this story to write about someone getting trapped in the dark while writing in complete darkness. My only light is coming from my laptop screen and everything behind it is pitch black. I'm definitely capturing the emotion alright! *shiver*
so, I've been up for 22 hours. the past 6 hours I've been writing. Eyes heavy, burning, you know the feeling. I have several categories for my channel, one of them being long plays of everything. I found this one. I love it. My eyes closed and immediately I was driven into a quick dream sequence of me sitting on a cliff then I quickly woke up. A couple of minutes go by and my eyes closed again. This time I was standing in my wife's and my old kitchen from 5 years ago. The room was dark and it was warm. My wife asked me if I wanted the air conditioner on and I nodded my head up and down and woke up still nodding my head. This music works with the sound patterns. I cant wait to go to bed and see what gnarly dreams await me.
For me, I go into a different world full of smoke, and the ground looks like if its the inside of an organ, i could see the veins pumping blood. The large landscape were made up of beautiful female faces with no eyes, just skin covering the area. Also the smoke and fog made the place very warm. There were many shapes every where I look which resembles sperm cells, or tadpoles. Everything was just an allusion, sadly.
Hi to all! I am a programmer and i like specific concentratIng music than help me coding! And i think this playlist is amazing! My brain say "Thank you!" to author!
All about that heartbeat around four minutes in. This is seriously the stuff of legends. I'm trying to find a solid music source for a D&D campaign of epic spook encounters...totally using this. Also, the tapping/banging/pinging that starts at 14:55 is what I instinctively do anytime I'm around a metal pole at night. Something so soothing about generating odd tonal frequencies.
@Tony B what is meant by christ? if by christ you mean the son of tiberius, yehahshua', then surely you must understand he was nothing more but a legitimized prince (only legitimized on his mother's line) who became a homeless preacher in exile, right? HOWEVER, if you refer to his descendants the Merowingen/Karlingen (Merovingi and Carolingi) and their descendants the French and Germans, then yes, nothing can be compared to France winning the most battles in history and Germans having the most discipline and historically having the most powerful military; Germans are the majority of Americans and there are many Germans in Latin America; your pope would refuse to show the truth regarding the Germans, hence he gave the German Emperor a fake spear of destiny (the one the third empire obtained); the real spear of destiny can hold clues, as can the shroud of turin; however, your pope tried to play off the dead sea scrolls as fake, claiming them as "fake blasphemy from scientists;" then science radiocarbon dated the scrolls and found them to be real, proving your pope wrong; just because your pope backs the false claim of Moors (the Occidental branch of the false holy land) and the false claim of Tatarin East Turks (the Oriental/East European branch of the false holy land); your pope is in all honesty a cuckold who allows himself cuckolded; I am mixed race, btw, so i don't want to hear your lies; the big lie will soon be exposed, the big lie that omitted the snake bite; remember, English swinehound, you are nothing compared to a French-German-Latinate, even if said French-German-Latinate is a mere mongrel!

I once had a weird dream where I was in a fancy room with velvet walls and a carpeted floor, there were two king sized beds, and there was a low buzzing sound all the time, where you would expect windows there were actually just a panel of framed mirrors on the wall. even though the room was well lit i could sense a dark abyss like feeling. when i walked out there was a long hallway with thick but soft carpets with flower like designs i think, the walls were covered in them as well. either end of the hallwaywas obscurd with a dark myst. i then walked into another room which looked like a living room. a few people were there wearing formal clothes from the 1800s, and a priest came and scolded me for being in the previous room. he then told me there was a dark entity in there, and doused my clothes with holywater, everyone in the room then stood up. thats where the dream ended

1:40 I imagine a room of people dressed in black chanting "toast" while a little boy makes toast
Save the Toaster this one made me legit burst into laughter
Great, now I can't get that image AND sound out of my head.
And then when he's done they applaud him, one ruffling his hair playfully, and the day goes on as normal, because Satan isn't always totally evil.

well, yes it isn't really music but i think it is scary ambiance
I listen to cryo chamber for the following...
1. Peace of mind
2. Homework
3. Playing Dark Souls

1. looking at old photographs
2. looking at rupester pictures

You know you are wired up wrong when nightmare music puts you in a state of tranquility.
Seriously, this gets me quite Zen-like.
Blind At The Wheel That's nothing but music and sounds for me
To me it's very reminiscent of Gregorian Chant, which I find extremely tranquil and easy to sleep to. So to me, you're not wired wrong at all lol

@clabo - I hear you. Of course I am being more poetic than literal with that comment.
I will never forget the hallway in Old City, walking down and hearing the chant of worship, so powerful.

Dark ambient is my main playlist for playing fallout 3-4 while super faded. The game feels real and the music makes it feel darker.

When I wake up after experiencing an nightmare, I have a happy glow on my face. This music helps.
It may all depend the kind of state your mind is in as well as the ambient music you chose.

Janet Craft Yeah I could imagine dark castles, forests and ruins and other creatures of the night.
Bullshit
and all at once i heard a tapping,as if someone gently rapping, tapping at my chamber door, nevermore
Mark Damen qwoth the raven. I love Poe
Oh my... Edgar, is that you?
No, is Lovecraf.
"It IS Lovecraft", with a "T" and no, the quote is Poe.
Lay down in a dark room and go to sleep to this. Whatever your dream is about, paradise or nightmare you will remember the entire dream.
Listening this in the dark at night... I ain't turning around to see what is behind me... but I swear I felt something poke me

This puts me in the right mood for thinking up scenarios for my more horrific dungeons and dragons sessions.
blizzardregulus that's what brought me here haha I'm looking for some spoop music to add to already grim tales laid out.
Great idea! I should write my theater text!
