  • Testing out the Eterra E40 Mini Skid Steer Backhoe Attachment on the Bobcat MT100!
It did good. But after this video I removed the teeth on this bucket and you get a MUCH cleaner trench!

The backhoes work great after you learn how to work it

Would you buy this attachment all over again?

Wouldn't it be better to use your boom and dipper stick more? instead of backing the machine up

I’m not sure. I know it can dig up to 4’ though from what I’ve been told

Do you recommend the Eterra E40? Pros and Cons?

For the price yes - I got mine on Facebook marketplace for like $1500 with 3 buckets and the landscape rake. If you have access to an excavator that’s def a better option because you don’t need to move your tracks to empty your bucket.
I just bought a mini excavator but I will def keep the E40 for my mini skid tight access areas

This thing is amazing in those spots you can’t fit the mini ex 👍

@@EliteLawnCareLandscaping I guess I can see the use when area is hard to get to... But I can't imagine that "amazing" properly describes the attachment. In my opinion all the additional movement necessary to unload each bucket outweighs the benefits when considering price.
I'm not sure what it costs but I'm sure it's in the 3-4k range or more but maybe I'm wrong.
The thing that bothers me the most is that there is no swivel to it, so you can't even just dump to the side? Or did I miss that?

@@EliteLawnCareLandscaping I own a dingo tx1000 and currently use my John Deere tractor with backhoe for digging applications.. I ve replaced a lot of the tractors use with the dingo but digging isn't one

@@FollowTheFood this beats hand digging every day of the week. This cost me $1500 with 3 buckets and a a root rake. This one does not swing left/right. They do make ones that do but they’re about double the price
Don’t knock it til you try it

@@EliteLawnCareLandscaping 3 buckets AND A ROOT RAKE??? man I gotta see the rake in action! Now that sounds like a selling point for me lol
