💪 HOW TO REMEDY AND REPAIR A SCREW PUMP 💪

This is a repair remedy of a screw pump with a type series of a three screw. A rotary positive displacement pump commonly used for lubricating or hydraulic liquids on its vertical design form. It has a double threaded driving spindle and two double-treaded idler spindles, enclosed in a housing insert with narrow running clearance.
The delivery elements are installed in a pump housing which is closed off on the drive side and the end side by pump caps. These cartridge unit pumps do not have a pump casing. They usually installed in pump column, submerged bodies, hydraulic tanks and cylinder casings etc.
From its suction connection, the fluid is directed into the suction chamber of the pump where the fluid flows into its spindle chambers. It is constantly constantly developed by the rotary motion at the spindle end to its suction side. By its movement via rotary motion, the chambers filled with the fluid created from the suction side to the outlet side. Therefore during this process there is a sealed chamber where the volume does not change. At the spindle end on the outlet side the chamber opens towards the delivery chamber. The fluid is steadily flowing out into the delivery chamber and being transferred from its pressure connection into the intended pressure pipeline.
The subjected axial thrust reacting between the surfaces of the profile flank of its outlet side is hydraulically balanced through the correct and precise quantity developed from the compensating journals of the idler spindles. In the complete process where the bearing is being free from any hydraulic axial thrust or movement
The idler spindles are hydraulically driven by means of correct and precise quantity developed between the spindles. The fluid frictional forces being developed were absorbed to its profile flanks which considerably a very stress free without any subject of wearing.
The volumetric constant of fluid developed inside the pump were move entirely without any pulsation, squeezing or turbulence from the suction side to its outlet side.
The sealing of shaft is housed by compartment where the shaft seal is seating to the pump suction chamber. This is called in many pumps with mechanical seal as stuffing box that provides internally with excess pressure of approximate 0,50 bars just above the norma operating pressure of the suction chamber. The aspiration of air by the shaft seal is being avoided and the dry running were fully protected.
The intelligent design and the principle of operation of the screw pump gives a very low noise level and turbulence - pulsation free delivery except if the relief is not seating very well thus creating a high terrible noise.
