What immediately hits me is the fact that they're never smiling... Do they actually enjoy this or are they being coerced by their parents? Between what has to be hours and hours of practice, school, and possibly homework - not to mention eating, sleeping, and bathing - when do these children have time to actually be children? I recognize all of the hard work they've clearly put in, but I can't help feeling sad.
