There are 2 mysteries I wish I could solve, what makes you win at a soccer match, and what makes you succeed as a kpop artist...I mean neither Blackpink or SNSD are the prettiest nor are they the ones who sing best or dance best...so what makes the difference, is it just dum luck?, I doubt it but maybe its just that :/
Universe ticket is a "weird" show i should say, these kpop competition shows are notorious for being rigged and favors koreans a lot. so people back then were really not expecting that a filipino would actually debut there. but for some reason gehlee and elisia had one of the most screentime on the whole show which leads for both of them to become viral and that's why their votes suddenly skyrocketed at the later part of the show. viewers were still scared at the time that the show might pull some string and try to kick gehlee regardless of her votes... but surprisingly that never happened LOL now we have the first kpop group with 2 filipino members. You should check universe ticket if you're interested, the show is very transparent and you would see a lot of "unskilled" contestant there, but you'd be surprise that there are bunch of kids ( seowon, yunha and eli) that pretty much outclassed even an experienced kpop artist and trainee contestant.
remember in the last round of universe ticket shes only needs 2% to reach prisms but got 2 millions+ votes hahaha
