शिवानी भटनागर हत्‍याकांड ने काफी लंबे समय से लोगों का ध्‍यान अपनी ओर खींचा है. शिवानी भटनागर इंडियन एक्सप्रेस अखबार की पत्रकार थीं, जिनकी 23 जनवरी, 1999 को हत्या कर दी गई थी.
दिल्ली के पटपड़गंज इलाके में हत्यारों ने शिवानी की हत्‍या उन्हीं के फ्लैट में कर दी थी. यह मामला तब और सनसनीखेज़ बन गया, जब इस केस में हत्या का आरोप एक आईपीएस अधिकारी आरके शर्मा पर लगा.

Sir, navkunj apartment is right in front of my society. I don’t know what used to happen in 1999 in Delhi’s society apartments and happens in other cities, but I am living in delhi from 2007 and the society apartments are actually safe in delhi in terms of people living alone, also the neighbours know each other however the people living in independent building flats, are alien to neighbors and not at all friendly if one wants to establish some kind of talking relation.
and sir, if the court said the call records seemed to be tempered then it could have ordered for re-investigation with genuine records from the telco itself. Also the court if really wanted to deliver the justice, how could it not order the investigation to be continued until the real master mind is found.

Three elements are crucial in proving the guilt of an accused ... any accused
1. Motive,
2. Opportunity, and
3. Irrefutable evidence, such as forensics.
Here, "motive" is conspicuously absent. Therefore, the Delhi High Court miserably failed in carrying the justice and P. Sharma became the scapegoat.
However, he had nothing to lose. Therefore, the question is:
DID HE TAKE THE STAND IN HIS OWN DEFENSE?
If not, why not?
What or who stopper him from pointing the finger at Ravi Sharma or Pramod Mahajan or someone else? Who coerced him?
Was that Mahajan, who had both money and power? Why was Delhi police in a hurry to clear him?
But, it still doesn't make sense why P Sharma agreed to become the fall guy?

An incident happened in IC colony borivali west. On 8 March at 10.30 pm a 23 yrs old on his Activa came in no entry lane. The night police were without police uniform informal clothes caught the collar of the boy . He try to save himself n started to video shoot from his mobile as we were passing by the boy asked for help. The Man name Oswald intervened n try to help the boy. The police became violent arrested all the people standing n put every one in police van n took them to MHB police station . Later the 23 yrs old boy of the Activa was released as they paid him on spot . The police left the Activa person n put FIR IPC 353 Against the Oswald who helped the Activa person. N dragged the matter in the court .
Police have power agree but they have put NC against Oswald first .he has no criminal record till now he is in Thane custody for such a small issue. He has apologised to the police but they r torturing him. He mentally disturbed n deciding to commit Suicide.
