Hi David. The manufacturer declared around 15 kilos, but because the antenna boom is long, I hope it can handle 5 kilos without much inertia. I'm going to test that soon.
Hi David. The whole antenna system (2 ant. & boom) weighs about 6 Kilos. The boom is the heaviest and has 2.3m. There is very little inertia at start and stop. My vertical pole is just a 1.5 inch pipe, 2.5 meters above the shack, and dampens very well the wobbling, because it's a bit flexible.
