No one can put emotion into their vocals like Agnetha. Not to mention her perfect voice. No trilling or breathy vocals. Just pure clarity and perfection. FYI: It’s difficult to explain how to say her name in words, but essentially you don’t pronounce the H.
❤The heartbreaking ballad 'My Love My Life' with lyrics by Stig Anderson was originally titled 'Monsieur, Monsieur' and a rough demo with Agnetha singing had been recorded in the studio in July 1976. (this song did not achieve the popularity it deserved - it was on the same album ('Arrival') with their biggest hits at the time; Dancing queen, and others..) The theme of the lyrics, with Paris as the setting for a romance that is now over., would later be echoed in the 1980 track 'Our Last Summer', complete with "walks along the Seine". However, the' French feel' that the group had seemed to detect in this song, was somehow deemed irrelevant, and a slower backing track in a lower key better suited to Agnetha's voice was recorded on August 20. The dreamy, whispering backing choir was inspired by 10CC classis 'I'm Not In Love', which had recently been a big hit. I recommended this particular video from the so-called Abba dabba doo TV show filmed in 1976 (it's their first documentary about Abba), it's very touchingly charming Agnetha's expressive face - as if he were speaking to us personally ('tell me' 3:22 ) along with 'the winner takes it all' , her best ballad.. I don't know why only Agnetha is in this video, but this is much different from the performance of this song on Polish TV which was recorded live without editing (personally I think that the camera in live could not have presented every detail of the expressiveness of the Abba's girls unlike this version of the video; the director had time for editing and successfully showed how Agnetha experiences each of her songs intimately - many people admitted that they cried when they first time listened to this song..) Abba won and my heart, ever since I first watched this particular performance - in my childhood back in the 80s ❤💣💥 Thank you so much for this reaction, I know you try to listen to just the audio version of the song first because sometimes videos are distracting.

You wouldn't think both women sing the chorus with that one sided playback performance. Not their best.
