    It’s sickening how much has been wasted by us humans, on this planet. We should be the caretakers of Earth, but we are instead, some teenagers left Home alone and trashing the place.

    This was cool!
    It's so sad those bikes didn't get distributed to people who need transportation in other countries...
    China ships Everything so cheap, they could have sold each bike for $1 and still made a profit.

    I can understand having a hard time trying to repurpose or scrap old military hardware. But all those bicycles what a waste. I'm sure theirs millions if.not billions of people who could use a bike.

    • @482darkknight
      @482darkknight 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Scrapping old vehicles is a big business, so recycling old military vehicles isn't a hard stretch. But the Soviet system collapsed, and so did big Soviet era projects. Someone will make a killing doing it eventually, but until then...

    • @sangramsinghrajvi
      @sangramsinghrajvi 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Totally agreed with Michael, arrange some businessman and repurpose these bikes in another city or country.
      Bicycles are not waste, they can be used for long time.

    • @sangramsinghrajvi

      But these are CHINESE, maybe that's why nobody wants to use them.

    It’s ashamed that we abandon and waste so many resources that can be recycled! Wasted time, money to bad crazy rich people that could end poverty on the world.

      Dan Smulders between highly educated idiots and diversity we get a lot of junk specially when the people that are doing the work know it’s wrong half ass but we do it cause there the boss.

    • @avancalledrupert5130
      @avancalledrupert5130 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Dan Smulders yea it amazes me . I've tracked pallets off bricks straight into the ground. Its cheaper to order a lorry load and ditch the waist than to order what you need.
      I've also seen 500 brand new windows chucked into skips because they were all 100 mm to big .

      It's way more complex then we get at school.
      Petitions can be created and send to government and the big companies. Big companies to give opinions from citizens and maybe even clients.
      Government cause then they can be informed that there is a need for laws. No clue how many signatures are needed, i guess it can be found on the website of the countries where it is needed or requested. Also many companies have meetings with a group that is formed by coworkers from within and formed with several layers of educational level. (i'm not English, sorry if I wrote wrongly). I hope you all have more ideas on finding solutions. Kind regards ;)

    • @chrisgabbert658
      @chrisgabbert658 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Stephanie Roumeguere the world is a complex place our schools teach us very little of truth. The more I think I understand the more confusing things become . 🤷‍♂️ We do waste a lot of our resources,time and hard work. Oh I failed English can’t spell writing is at best chicken scratch and on this phone I one finger hurt and peck . You have a nice day.🙏

    I think it bothers me more that large businesses and companies don't have a backup plan for if their construction projects don't go through or if their endeavors flops. They typically don't have a plan for recycling materials or selling back salvageable equipment so the whole mass just sits there a decays over time. If some of those places would have been rezoned and repurposed right after things went under then most would have had a current function today.

    Despite Wikipedia and other places you can gather information online the Miami Marine Stadium was built to host rowing/crew events from amateur to collegiate even professional rowing tournament but the sports popularity massively decease. I’ve spent a lot of time around the stadium in Biscayne bay or more specific Virginia key. And that is the story most local historians will tell you. The problem with it being built as a offshore power boat racing is number one it’s not offshore and number two the cove like shape of the water in front of the stadium isn’t really wide enough to have a turn around for a offshore race boat to turn around while running hard trying to win the race
