Great Video. Love ur cat! I have new neighbors that don't teach their kids or their guest that yelling at the top of their lungs is not okay in a residential neighborhood. They yell day and night playing soccer all day yelling like they are in a Game field. There is a park/ field 2 blocks up but use their small back yard and street. I've lived here 15yrs up until 5 yrs ago it started going to poop. Meaning new ppl moving in bring with them all sorts of crapy ways, Starting with thoes neighbors. I need to make a fence that will kick back all their noise to them. Iam still figuring that part out. Enjoyed your video Ty
I am building a fence to get rid of my neighbor's loud motor sound. Started with 5cm timbers to 3.5m high. Adding some rockwool noise blocking layers. Then cinder blocks. And maybe a Helmholtz Resonator. Easy to make. No special skills I will keep you posted once it's done.
@@Makelifehappennow Please do. Motor sounds om goodness I would flip. Idk if I could handle that. I seen this one video he build a sound proof fence for his noisy neighbors in the middle of nowhere. Man I lost hope..In the middle of nowhere and still have noisy neighbors 😒..
Wonderful video! I want to do some woodwork outside and don't want to annoy the neighbors. Hopefully I can build a little temporary sound-reducing enclosure.
Would be better if the insulating material had more mass. Another idea -- easy to get old rolls of carpet from renovations. Stack rolls horizontally and strap them to 4x4 posts placed every 2 meters. You can cover in weather proof tarp or galvanized metal.
@@h7opoloI will sell my tiny house and started another project, I'm planning on a tiny house with land, a small farm. But first, this madness must end. Stay safe!
HA, HA!!! All the noise making that fence was a great way to get even with the neighbors! Very funny intro. and ending. Bet your cat was mad when you got home! 😁😻
Ugh..how much will it cost to do this allover our fence that got burned down by the road construction workers..like left, back & right one got burned..only the front still "alive"..
The insulation in the wall is styrofoam. And it is covered with gypsum boards. But gypsum boards only work here because we don’t have rain. Therefore, you must find another material that is suitable for your climate
Great Video.

Thank you for making this video. It will help me avoid the air conditioning noise from my neighbor. Does it resist to rain and sun ?
What a guy's gotta do to get some peace and quiet!
Yes! Next step I move to the forest ...✌

be careful about which forest you move to... some have atv and dirt bike riders. ugh.

Glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
Well done though !!
Nice sense of humor 😁
Thanks! 😃
Love the intro.. this is how I feel Omg!
Thanks!
Curious how the drywall will hold up in rain. Stucco might work also. Cool idea! Thx
If it rains three times a year, it's no problem, otherwise it's not ✌
You can always try a thick vinyl plastic that will help with the noise and the rain, stay peachy!
great video!!
Thank you!
Looks great and it does what it’s intended to do but I’m not sure I’d call that a fence anymore. It’s a wall. Haha Great video though.
Thanks 👍
you need a sound proofed roof now :)
Hahaha ... yes, thank you very much!
Great fence airplanes are a problem. But you can't have everything Lol
sweet! thank you for sharing!
No problem!
Love the intro.
Thank you very much!
Does it have to be 8ft??? I can only do 6ft does it still cancel out noise with 6ft???
very clever
👍
The irony here as he works at night to complete it.
“What on earth is that noisy neighbour doing?!!”
👍
Very cool
Thank you!
Where are these magical places where you can have taller than 6’ fence?
BUT DID THE FENCE AT LEAST KEEP ALL THE OTHER NOISE OUT ?
Do you have to put silicone between the cracks? I want to do my carport but worried to glue anything due to body corporate rules.
No, I applied silicone because I already had it at home
I’ve heard many people saying that any small cracks will let sound through 🤷♂️
hello i live on a house near a highway for the past 17 years.. i need help
Wahahhaha nice ending 😂
👍✌
Hi how much did this cost? I have noisy neighbors in their backyards. Our fence is not that tall tho, will it still block noise? Thank you!
The minimum should be around 7 feet high. My fence is about 23 feet long and 8 feet high. And it cost around € 80.✌

hello! great video.. what is that black mesh like material in the beggining. Is that part of the soundproofing ?
No, it's just fabric
Looks like weed membrane
How many trees per American Home?Whats wrongs with solid bricks and a foundation?
Put a roof over it and you have no tiny house anymore ☺️
👍👍🙂
You are doing exactly what I want but cannot do
Thanks for watching!
NO rain how do plants grow? What about drinking water?Isee plants.
Thank you for this video. May I know the materials you used to sound proof your patio? I'm thinking of soundproofing my balcony as well. Thank you!

@@klerobi1 Thank you very much for answering! Really appreciate it! :)
Just dig a huge deep hole. 🕳
Put some reo into walls, then form work.
Fill with concrete.
Make a concrete bunker. 😅👍
concrete bunker?
@@klerobi1 Yes.
👍😅
is the real game due to styrofoam ?
How much did the materials cost you?
I think it was less than $ 100
next time don't put background music over sound tests :)).
👍
Can you build me one please for my idiot neighbours that play disc golf and trampoline next to my bedroom grrrr
Gypsum board is a fail in the rain...this is goofy AF.
When sun breaks down water seal the water will melt and warp gypsum board
