    I have a couple of questions.
    I studied consistently for a long time. ( a couple of problems a day)
    At some point, I noticed that I started getting like very annoyed with problems and sick from them. So, I had to stop for a month. How do you handle this irritation?
    Also, I have solved a lot of problems already. There are a lot of problems out there. Some of them are pretty much useless. How to choose problems wisely?

      To your first question, I would take a look at this post: www.byte-by-byte.com/stuck-on-coding-interview/. Some of these tips may help you feel less stuck.
      And to your second point, I wrote a post on that as well :) : www.byte-by-byte.com/choosing-practice-questions/

    Do you have any tips in getting interviews? I’m a junior, going into senior year and I feel like applying online is useless

      Definitely referrals are a really good place to start. And make sure that your LinkedIn is strong so that recruiters can find you

      Byte By Byte where did you work before? It seems kind of weird to have all these videos on interview practice if you don't apply it yourself since you're self employed.

    • @ByteByByte
      @ByteByByte  6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Chandasouk that’s a totally valid question and I’m probably going to make a video about that sometime soon. But in the meantime, here’s the thing:
      1. I did work as a software engineer full time and went through this process myself plenty of times, so I do have personal experience. I worked in NYC at a company called Yext.
      2. Which is better? One person’s personal experience getting a job or the advice of someone who has helped dozens of people do the same? There is so much crap out there but unlike others who simply have one data point (their own experience), I can show you countless clients who have gotten fantastic offers. My coaching clients have gotten jobs at everything from Google to Amazon to Bloomberg to Uber.
      Ultimately, interviewing is a different skill. You can take my advice if you want or you can ignore it, but I’m happy to show you all of the successes that my clients have had and why I my advice is worth listening to.
