I had been feeling uneasy recently after listening to one prophet in the body of Christ, charge $800 for an online training on prophesy. Another speaking prophetically about financial breakthrough and asking his audience to sow into that word financially.
Even Jesus fed the 5,000 and the 4,000 after teaching them all day! Earlier this year my neighbor insisted on sending me to Tiphani Montgomery’s event in ATL. I wasn’t very familiar with her at the time so I said sure. My regular ticket was about $400. The biggest thing I noticed is that she did not serve food. Not even snacks and water. 8 hour days, hundreds or thousands or dollars spent to attend and we had to leave in the middle of the day for lunch and come back! To top it off, the info they were sharing was elementary level stuff you can search online. I left early the last day of the conference because I peeped the game she was running.

I myself don’t believe in paying for conferences because I’m not paying for the word of God! So I don’t think that applies to her as much as you think.

I am so blessed to have my 97 year old grandmother that has taught Sunday School and Bible study for over 45/50 years. And I learned the Bible during my childhood in church and I get that good ole wisdom. She still can run them verses and explain and break things down and teach you how to run references. Anything my grandmother tells you she refers you to a Bible verse.
I am praying for discernment and God is revealing to me that my friends don’t love me and that they are decoys sent from the enemy. God is also revealing that I choose ppl based on superficial reasons and that is what blocks my discernment. Tony talk more about the how the decoys are demonic agents sent to pull us away from God 🙏😢
The VIP tickets are $250 and it said that it’s limited to 300 guests. That's $75,000 on just the VIP attendees alone and 7,000 people are going. That’s a lot of money they will be making off of that Conference. I've been duped by things like this in the past. These videos definitely gave me a lot of clarity. Who truly benefits from these types of events besides the people hosting? I went to the Millions Conference this year and when I think about it my one takeaway was the same one as the guy you talked to. I feel like I spent a lot of money that I could have saved. The flight, hotel, food, and everything adds up including the ticket price for these types of events. I agree with this message. I'm living and learning. 🙏🏾
I am 100% convicted. I was planning on buying these tickets to the acts 242 conference but it would never work out. Something always came up for me to not buy these tickets. After a while i felt like the Lord was blocking it… My discernment started kicking in after killing idolatry. (Wanting to meet Jackie Hill Perry)

Yes I agree. I’ve never understood why people ask for autographs and pictures . I raised my son that we are all equal treat people how you desire and deserve to be treated. You do not acknowledge people by profession nor income . You acknowledge people because there human beings. The only autograph I would desire are my parents and ancestors for there love and sacrifice to allow me/us to live the life we are living. One thing I noticed about the Acts 242 conference, is that it's being held at a large Baptist church and not actual venue. They will probably give a courtesy seed to the host church but will basically get to pocket the entire half million. 🤣 At least in the case of Mantle, Millions, etc., the events are being held at arenas, hotels, etc. so I can understand the ticket price.
According to Jackie, the original vision for this conference came from Megan. I’m curious if the rise of Christian influencers and people getting their living from teaching/speaking without being in a pastoral setting (I.e being a paid pastor/teacher for a church) has blurred the lines to a point where we have become desensitized and teachers feel that they are entitled to a check from the gospel pie. 🤔
Sadly I have paid nearly 200 for a young adult conference, not including merch sold. And some of the lunches they sold was 5 for two slices of pizza. SMH. Terrible! This was when I was younger and more ignorant.
Honestly it goes deeper then just conferences. There are guest ministers preaching for money. People are paying to “worship” by paying for Maverick City Concert and it never sit well with me when I don’t pay for praise and worship at church. This is how we are making people into idols because you’re paying them money for spiritual gifting. While I don’t think this applies to Tiphani cause her conferences apply to entrepreneurs but she said God gave her the entrepreneur wisdom but maybe she can market it different cause clearly people are confused. But she even states she does not charge for her biblical services and when she says sold out she specifically says its free. I don’t think it’s wrong to incorporate God into your business. If you’re doing a relationship conference if you’re a Christian you might want to incorporate God into it to honor that God is giving you the wisdom like you say Tony. But I get it let’s increase our discernment. The whole Christian industry has become a money making machine. Also what about people making money off of putting their biblical teachings in books??
A few years ago this person identifying as a Moor told me that you’re not supposed to charge for any spiritual teachings. that’s breaking the spiritual law. I never forgot that ever since and i’m sure it helped stop me from doing something lawless before i got to know God.
I personally don't have a problem with people charging given the overhead for alot of these events. The problem I have is charging then trying to finesse with a bunch of offerings
The Millions conference is actually specifically for business and entrepreneurship i believe. I’ve always heard her emphasis that because she was asked about why she charges a lot for it.

From what I’ve seen from her, she was into business and made her money WAY before ministry so now she uses that millions conference to equip people who are interested. Sadly I have paid nearly 200 for a young adult conference, not including merch sold. And some of the lunches they sold was 5 for two slices of pizza. SMH. Terrible! This was when I was younger and more ignorant.

Honestly it goes deeper then just conferences. There are guest ministers preaching for money. People are paying to “worship” by paying for Maverick City Concert and it never sit well with me when I don’t pay for praise and worship at church. This is how we are making people into idols because you’re paying them money for spiritual gifting.
While I don’t think this applies to Tiphani cause her conferences apply to entrepreneurs but she said God gave her the entrepreneur wisdom but maybe she can market it different cause clearly people are confused. But she even states she does not charge for her biblical services and when she says sold out she specifically says its free.
I don’t think it’s wrong to incorporate God into your business. If you’re doing a relationship conference if you’re a Christian you might want to incorporate God into it to honor that God is giving you the wisdom like you say Tony. But I get it let’s increase our discernment. The whole Christian industry has become a money making machine.
Also what about people making money off of putting their biblical teachings in books??
A few years ago this person identifying as a Moor told me that you’re not supposed to charge for any spiritual teachings. that’s breaking the spiritual law. I never forgot that ever since and i’m sure it helped stop me from doing something lawless before i got to know God.
I personally don't have a problem with people charging given the overhead for alot of these events. The problem I have is charging then trying to finesse with a bunch of offerings
