Thank you for this very helpful post. My daughter gave me a Rocket Fusion that I’m using for my planner this year. It’s great, except I’ve already lost the essential FriXion pen. I’m going to the store tomorrow to buy a supply of pens, and hoped I’d be able to buy an attachable pen holder. I ran across your site, so instead of buying a pen holder, I’m going to buy some tri-fold elastic and use some fabric scraps to make my own. And I’m going to make holders for everybody I can think of. Thank you for your very clear instructions. You’re awesome
Thank you! I purchased a few of your patterns last night, and I was able to make this while watching your video. I love it! Thank you for the patterns and instructional video. 😃
I would sew a 1/4" seam on the fold of the pocket (where you folded the pocket in half). Press. Do 10" of elastic and tuck in 1/2" of elastic on each end. School binder do 13" long of elastic. Remember the elastic will stretch alot.
Love your easy to follow and make tutorials

You can absolutely customize it how you’d like!
I cannot wait to make some of these.
Very cute!
Thanks so much!
Cute & great tutorial❤
Love it! Thank you!!
@@Carmen0123 you’re so welcome!
You can also sew a stitching line in the middle of the pocket. All the way down.
You absolutely can :)
I can do that, thank you!!
Super cute.
Thank you!
How do you adjust the fabric size and elastic length for different notebook sizes?
Can it also be used for glasses?
@@monikahuizar7950 I don’t see why not! :) I would probably add an inch to the overall width of it though.
Really cute❤️ Can you make one using faux vinyl?
If it isn’t super stiff (so that you can flip it right side out), you can!
which fusible fleece do you use? I think the ones I have are either too thin or too thick
@@natashaglading9912 any fusible fleece will do, but I use the one about 1/8 inch thick.
The link to the pattern has a typo in your website address (sewning iso sewing). Thanks for sharing and have a great day!
Thank you!!! Fixed :)
Sew cute❤
Where did you purchase the elastic from?
You can get it anywhere! I get mine from Hobby Lobby or Walmart for $1-2.
