My mom was 62 when she first saw South Park, and she died laughing. She made me show her the rest. By far her favorite is Butters, followed by Randy and cartman. The sad thing is, there are parents in real life that are exactly like Butters’ parents. It’s really upsetting to think about that. There’s a term used to describe kids that are sheltered from the world by parents similar to Stephen & Linda Stotch, called “sheltered children”.
Even though Butters gets royally screwed by what Cartman did, it is momentarily cathartic to see someone rip into Butters' parents.
