"hey, here's some tomatoes" Edit (2023) I love that there's still so much love for this song and this game. Just played it again and it is still my fave THUG game
A lot of people come here from playing THUG2 back in early 2000's. This just show we all had a great kickstart into music. I always say how much the Tony Hawk's soundtrack gave the first steps into music for me. Like a older brother, or that cool older cousin that recommended you some great songs. I still keep my CD of Tony Hawks Pro Skater (the first one) near my vinyl altar. it all started from there, when i was 10 years old and listening to Goldfinger - Superman while doing some slides in the abandoned warehouse level.
+Christian de Kool Same here. I didn't even know it was a reggae song when I played the game, as it was under Rock/Other, until I heard Steel Pulse on a reggae station. This song doesn't have that typical beat you associate with most reggae songs. I think that's why I like it so much.
this song reminds me of doing special skateboarding tricks on that half pipe near australia beach at thug 2, I was trip inside myself with that "rasta and beachy vibe at the same time" when I was about 10 years old ... awesome times!
ofc, it's controlled by the elite... I sync my music with my Spotify on my pc, then I add the songs to a downloaded playlist, and sycn em. I use Soulseek to download full albums

***** I must politely disagree. This song is from a comeback album. The group was fairly popular in the UK reggae scene in the mid 1970s/early 1980s, around the time Toots and Marley were gaining traction, but clearly not to the same degree that the aforementioned 2 greats attained.

Miss playing thug2 online with its small community. People would use action replay max to put symbols and colors in their name using. Pretty sure thats how I learned what hexadecimal was lol
just a tip dude: this stupid stereotype that reggae is just a soundtrack to getting high reduces de genre to so little. reggae is all about protest, revolution, fighting against racism and fighting also for black people's rights

Some much nostalgia
GTA Vice City also had some amazing tracks
Verdade!
That's the good stuff right there
Tony Hawk's Underground 2 is also the game that introduced me to Steel Pulse and to reggae in general. I love reggae ever since.
+Christian de Kool Same here. I didn't even know it was a reggae song when I played the game, as it was under Rock/Other, until I heard Steel Pulse on a reggae station.

Thug2 probably my fav game of all time. Literally played it over 20 times. Today i started up a new story on sick at 3 pm and finished 5 pm
I loved doing that when I was younger. On a random Saturday, I'd start a normal story and play through it for the whole day.
did the same 2day
The whole album is literally godlike level🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
THUG2 put me onto so many genres, and Aggressive Inline put me onto Rock music
This got taken off spotify and I'm still mad
