    IV pole is a great idea! I won't have to worry about where to mount my tank since I have limited space. Thank you!!

    Thanks for the video - I just got mine and was a little confused about the height/hose but you cleared that up. Just a note - I was watching a video by a retailer who sells these types of irons and they said not to use it for upright steaming.

    That is an elaborate system you have now. Very exciting! I hope it continues to meet all of your expectations, Emily.😊❤️

      It's pretty elaborate, but it works so well! Thank you!

    I didi't know what I would do to hang the water tank but an IV pole... GREAT!!!!! now I feel I can purchase one.

    I'd never remember to close the hose valve. Seems like an elaborate and costly set up to avoid filling the iron as often. I mean, it's neat, but it seems more relevant to professional sewists. But it's interesting to see how it works. Thanks for sharing.

    I so needed this video. I purchased the E85 version. But the box didn't come with any instructions so I needed this video. Thanks for this!

      Its the best iron I have ever owned! The handle tends to get a little warm but that's a minor issue to me. I just couldn't believe the amount of steam that came out and how well it pressed open seams. I should have purchased one of these a long time ago.

      @@Hervinbalfour I'm in total agreement! I love this iron! You're right, the handle get a bit warm, but definitely not HOT. The steam is amazing, and no more leaks!

    The exact thing happened to me. My Rowenta started leaking all over. I have replaced it with a gravity feed iron.

      At first I loved my Rowenta! I am so glad I switched to gravity-feed 🙂

    How does this iron do on synthetics? Does it tend to melt the fabric?

    • @SewcalSewcialite
      @SewcalSewcialite  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven't had any issues with synthetics. I do recommend using a pressing cloth. I hope this helps 🙂

    Omg I had the same Rowenta and it did the same thing to me…. Spilling everywhere.

    It's been 3 years since you posted this, I'm curious how things are going now for you with this iron? Is it still working well? I'm debating which model to get.

      Hi there! I know my comment is late, but I finally splurged on a boiler iron. I did like the gravity feed iron (great for the price point), but having to hang it was a bit cumbersome but workable 🙂

      I switched to a steam iron that professionals use after saving up. But I still do recommend this iron 🙂

    Is the steam button easy to press? When using a regular iron my thumb begins to hurt if I’m doing a lot of repetitive pressing while quilting

    Does this have the steam output like your Rowenta or is it more of a dryer iron?

    what if you don't use the iron everyday do you still keep the water in the big bottle thing and the resin, also if you are done using it how do you get the rest of the water out of the iron? I am asking because I don't have a permeant station.

    • @SewcalSewcialite
      @SewcalSewcialite  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly, if I have to set up the iron every time I needed it didn't have a dedicated space for it, I probably wouldn't have a gravity-feed iron. Instead, i would get this since it would be easier to move around: amzn.to/33MWi5l

      It's a great iron, so you can't really wrong. Sure, you can set it up every time you have to use it, I suppose, or just wheel it into storage somewhere. I'm sure you can make it work and it will be just fine 😎
