+Jacob Butler Does a phenomenal job... just saw them about a month ago again, for probably the 12th or 13th time and they still can kick it very well live.
@extrasmallVA I believe it was "StillFrame, Made of Glass, Hollowman, Stand Up, Skin Deep, Echo, Disconnected [Out of Touch], Waiting, and then Headstrong" in that order.
I agree 250% .... I think monty is a little underrated. He's my idol drummer, he's the reason why I drum, the reason why I bought my cymbals (which are the same as his)... and Trapt's music has always kept me going from day 1... monty's one of the most creative drummers, and of course one of the best.
LOL wow... yeah I agree, it's one of my faves... I can't really choose which song from Trapt is my fave, cuz I think all of them are the best... but I agree, this one's a best.
@fabiopereirascp01 I agree. Get your voice heard, let everyone you know hear about how great they are... chances are they know one or two of the songs (usually Headstrong), but not about the others... the others by far are their best songs!
They did in the beginning, not so much anymore... and quite frankly, Chris, the lead singer, has an ego that is now really going to his head. But... despite all of it, I LOVE Trapt... still the best live band out there!
+Adam kahn You were right on the button with that assumption... unfortunately, Simon is not the guitarist anymore... but the person who is, Ty, uses a 6 string... and phenomenally may I add.
LOL... well... any band does live... it's not that he overdoes it, but when you're on stage and stuff, you tend to do it without realizing it 'cause it's a bit stressful playing live. I know, I play live all the time... plus Trapt rocks hard!
Bstett95 Wow, I am sooo late to reply to this hahahaha, sorry... the band has gone thru a few changes including drummer... love all their stuff to be honest, it all at some point has been catchy or relevant to my life which I appreciate.
Actually, Robb is better than Simon was... which I was afraid Robb would completely suck for the band... but Robb adds a new flavor to the band and he fits the style perfectly... trust me, see them live now...
@DarKnightKilla13 haha of course ! trapt is an awesome band, i just recently started to listen to them again ! i got into hardcore metal and etc but now im back ti alt rock thanks to trapt !! lol the like and dislike bar looks like a drumstick hehehe xD
Too bad Simon left the band in 2008, this being his last show. The band started going downhill after this... then, eventually Monty left in 2012. I barely recognize the band nowadays. They still put out some decent songs throughout each record, but not as close to what they used to sound.
I'm just glad I got to see them before things went downhill and a few times after. Not sure I'd bother much anymore. Chris really has kind of homewrecked his own band, it's sad.
@@DarKnightKilla13 Yeah, they still managed to make a decent record w/ Robb after Simon left, but it wasn't the same for me. And nowadays the vocalist rather start beef w/ the entire music industry, even Ice T LOL instead of focusing on what matters. I know we live in a democracy where we can speak our mind, but somethings it's just not worth the trouble. I saw them back in 2012 if I'm correct, and didn't really enjoy the concert at all. And I love their first records. I still listen to them til this day. So imagine my disappointment.
@@Urameshiiiii_90 I listen to the old stuff more than the new... I never used to skip a song... but the last 2 records I have... just not the same. I get bands change and evolve, but I find it ridiculous what he's doing now. It's....a shame, really. There were chances and... well Robb and Ty were good guitarists, but losing Monty as the drummer I think really hurt them even further. I STILL can't believe Pete hasn't left... then again he actually has a life and kid to worry about while maintaining his studios and production company.
@@DarKnightKilla13 I was surprised as well that the original bassist still hasn't left lol but having a wife and kid kinda makes things hard for him. But I can only imagine what's going on through his mind seeing all this bullsh*t unfold. But for me, losing Simon was the biggest downfall for them band. He was just an excellent guitar player. "Someone In Control" is my favorite album. I find it funny how everyone focus on "Headstrong", which is a song I almost never listen. They have way better songs in my opinion, like "Stand Up" for instance. But anyway, losing Monty eventually made things even worse for the band, and right after Rob left as well. "Only Through The Pain" was a decent record w/ a couple good songs such as "Curiosity Kills" and "Contagious", they even played w/ Nikki Sixx during that time. "No Apologies" was decent as well, w/ songs such as "End Of My Rope" and "Sound Off". "Reborn" wasn't a big deal though, even though I can let songs such as "Bring It" and "Love Hate Relationship" slide, but not even close to what they used to be. And nowadays, I barely recognize the band. It's a shame... so much potential.
Can you chill? Maybe you should actually do your research. I've been following the band since 1997 when they formed. For your information Simon WROTE all the new songs with Chris. The guitar work on the new album is SIMON, NOT Robb. Simon had ALOT of issues with where he wanted the band to go, and unfortunately that's not his place. Chris and Pete created Trapt, Simon joined a yr later. Simon, while VERY skilled on guitar, is NOT the Trapt type anymore. Robb IS- he actually has more experience.
@benkennycrew25 dude, Robb is better than Simon, enough said, Simon is very skilled but Robb fits the band perfectly and is extremely creative in his work, dont bring up things u cant back up, cuz believe me, i will prove u wrong and DarKnightKilla13 will DEFINITELY prove u wrong, dont start what u wont finish
thanks mate for the upload...i just love trapt and this song is the fav of the songs.....really...thanks !!
greetz
One of my all time favorite bands.....wish they would have received the recognition their talent deserves!!! 408 and 831

I agree completely, cheers!

"SCHMOOPLE: what brand of guitar is he playing ? i must no"

You idolize their drummer Monty, but didn't he leave the band and they got a new one? And what do you think of their new stuff man?
Bstett95 Wow, I am sooo late to reply to this hahahaha, sorry... the band has gone thru a few changes including drummer... love all their stuff to be honest, it all at some point has been catchy or relevant to my life which I appreciate.
@baylen98 Hell yeah man, I saw the same show. It was kickass!
Hell yeah! :D

@leonisazombiepwner Lool, he realized that they're a threat to him, so... he disliked. Like that changed everything.
trapt REALLY needs to get Ormandy back
@javier20893 Hahaha exactly. Yeah that's sooo funny hahaha good eye for noticing that :P
@paschouelo hahaha yeahhh it is :D
