Glad to see someone else besides me using a pressure pot, been using them for 30 plus years . I will use a Iwata lph 400 for base coat, but always use a pressure pot for the clear coat, or single stage. Nice job on the project.
Hello I use a binks 2 quart model 80 pot with duel regulators on the pot (no need for the bulky regulator on the gun) but any pressure pot will work fine (devilbiss in good also) I use two different guns one is a Binks mach 1 ls HVLP, also I like the old standby Sharpe model 975 hvlp. I use 8-10 lbs on the pot and between 18-28 lbs on the gun depending what material you are using (some HS clear needs a bit more pressure to get good a good break-up. Once you get used to this system you will like it a lot 100% gun control over trying to balance to cup on a gravity feed gun . no need to fill the pot 2 to 3 times to go around the whole car.
Love my pressure pot, 0.85mm ft ac te20, i use awlgrip and awlcraft paints for big boats!. I love watching a 75ftplus boat go out the door flat n polished 🤙 🤙 🤙 🤙 🤙
Was that primer or topcoat? With pressure pot if you need 65 psi max atomization pressure at the gun, which gun is good for that kinda pressure ? Usual HVLP guns do not withstand pressures more than 40 Psi I believe. Thanks !
got a e 320 looks like grap no dents top clear coats falling off . your the dude ive been thinking hit one time
nice me brother
