Prof. Faisal Dar (Sitara e Imtiaz), D. Sc. (Honoris Causa), FCPS, FRCS, FEBTS, is the Chairman Department of Liver Transplantation, Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Surgery, and the Dean of Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute Research Centre (PKLI-RC), Lahore, Pakistan.
Professor Faisal Dar is the pioneer of liver transplantation in Pakistan and is the leading liver transplant surgeon in the country. He has the credit to his name for performing more than 1500 transplant procedures in his career, out of which 1300+ were living donor transplants that he has performed in Pakistan.
