love when a melee spam build doesn't involve Monte Carlo. The synergies are obvious but I find it slightly boring to insta lock on to that gun for so many melee builds. So yippie for the creativity here!
I've been using the BXR battler with Incandescent and Pugilist, with Facet of Balance/Facet of Awakening. Get a Firesprite for some grenade energy back, but a lot of melee energy back from Pugilist/Balance
This was kinda my set up for early prismatic. It’s really insane how slept on glacial quake is. Took it into onslaught and it was literally just transcendence and super trade off the entire time

The main problem with GC is like many Titan supers it is ground locked. It's only option for airborne targets is it's melee dash. When people put together there go to builds they generally want a "dose it all" build. This is why Night Hawk and Orpheus is so popular. They are amazing supers, any build involving them has good survival and add control/ clear options and they get stronger the better you gear gets without replying on meta weapons or obscure drops. On top of that people tend to be very hyperbolic when talking about how good or bad things are in games like this. For example if a super dosn't have the boss damage/ champion kill potential of Golden gun, it gets called 'trash' regardless of its potential within its nich. My friend and I were able to delete onslaught bosses by mixing his salvations grip with my Glacial quake and then doing one shatter dive. The bosses health bar legit disappeared yet few people talk about stasis's potential against boss targets.

Thanks for creating such fun builds without needing the class item. Been using your builds are a (mostly) solo returning player, and these detailed explanations help out so much.
You forgot about the legendary version of Kovostov with the dealers choice, attrition orbs, ability generation on kills, and how kinetic damage builds your transcendence meter.
Its a good option, but you need to hit 30 shots for it (67% of the smallest mag size rounded down +2). Rocket sidearm is definetly faster but a great backup option!
I love Doom fang for onslaught it’s like a guaranteed round 50 win with a good void weapon as it does buff them by 25% which I don’t think you spoke on.
@@sambyexunior And not only does that weapon fuck HARD, it's also godlike for damage, so a semi-constant x4 surge for hitting with MELEE is gonna go hard, void or otherwise.

It’s also important to note that Monte Carlo’s bayonet grants 50% melee energy per hit plus the 1/4 refund chance. This may make it a better choice than you thought.
im so glad that you used my build concept for a video! i admittedly completely misspoke on ashes to assets when i commented about the build and its hands on instead. Your alterations of the build only showcase just how actually versatile the concept is, and I think thats fantastic. Its genuinely such a feel good feeling to see this build idea expanded upon and see this variation of it that uses an entirely different weapon setup than my original weapon choices that still performs just as good.

Because of that, i was excited, what you will say to "Facet of Ruin", because there are some videos on YT and discussions on reddit, which show, that it doenst do much at all. Have you tested this? I tried by just looking closely at my TV, but it's either bugged or like they say, so small, it's not worth that slot. Would be really nice, if you could give insight here, because i don't use it any more, but always fear, that i loose out on something. If "Facet of Ruin" is not worth it and finishing targets is a big part of the build, than i would absolutly change it to "Facet of Defiance". Maybe even if "Facet of Ruin" works... i mean, with all targets around getting volatile/slowed/severed it really helps with CC, Super generation, transcendance energy and/or survivability. Loved the idea, but I think M.C. plus Facet of Grace and Aberrant Action is better than using the Call. You have Darkness meter full after Super ends and I just shot a couple shots of A.A. and can pop Transcendence, and can pop Super again, right after. M.C. helps spamming even more Melee while in T. and can create even stasis shards with Season Artifact.
I noticed you have triple 100 stats! Very nice. Do you recommend we get triple 100 stats in resilience, discipline, and strength for titan right now? I’m only a few more armor pieces from triple 100s anyway so I would need to save a few with high strength
I was using a similar build, but with le monarque instead of still hunt to make use of the other part of doomfang. It (or graviton) would also help charge light transcendence for those of us who cant snipe.
this is my one of three exotics on titan and for some reason it fills that captain america fantasy so well, but damn after watching cross go over super dmg for titan on prismatic might have to bust that out and try it out myself
This was the first build I made for prismatic titan. It was really fun but it wasn't always able to tank when I needed it to. When I was doing the legend campaign a strand subjugator killed me while in my stasis super with multiple damage resists going on. That was infuriating. Nowadays I use a class item that has hoarfrost and precious scars so I can heal from using whatever weapons I want and give myself cover. The scars spirit is great for helping teammates too.
So, I'm gonna make an observation here. So, I tried legend Exodus Garden with this build, and I couldn't make good use of Glacial Quake on the boss. So I had to swap over to either Hammer of Sol or Twilight Arsenal (I chose hammers bc I like them). I made the decision to swap out Facet of Ruin with Facet of Devotion for extra light transcendence. So, If you're in a situation where Glacial Quake can't serve you, I'd make that change.
Would The Call, Graviton Lance, and Pro Memoria be good? With three special ammo drop changes coming to Rocket Sidearms I don’t know how comfortable I am running double special with no special ammo finder.
the pale heart sniper rifle gets some decent perks as a void weapon, so you can even double dip if you'd like (though you lose out on still hunt if you use that)

Hello Llama, I just wanna ask something. This build is great. This is my dream titan I’ve been waiting for. But for one of the artifact mods, Transference, wouldn’t it be better to swap with Prismatic Transfer? For solo content then, yeah, Transference but team play could Prismatic Transfer be beneficial?
Prismatic Transfer is rarely worth it with how easy it is to get things like Radiant these days, since Radiant is 25% and Prismatic Transfer is 20%, it will always be overriden by Radiant, so I'd stick to Transference :)

I have the exact same weapon set up on prismatic warlock, with the exotic class item having apotheosis and mantle using needle storm. 10-20 second supers. Dealers choice really is busted
You are missing out on the additional benefit of a stacking 4x surge to your void weapons just for getting kills or getting a melee kill for max stacks.

Bravery is a mistake imo, courage makes more sense since you can drengr's to make te melee deal even more damage, paired with knockout it'll guarantee a kill

wanted to use this build because it looked fun but my melees dont seem to be getting benefited from knockout? anyone else have this issue? it's going from 15k damage without to 7k damage with it active which, and im no mathematician, but i dont think that's exactly doubled and its not like im reading it wrong or anything; first melee in an encounter hits for 15k and the next (after getting the kill with said melee) deals 7k maybe it's my fault tho idk
Think that’s just a preference thing. Like I personally think they feel pretty nice, though that’s probably from a lot of practice with the second chances with Monte Carlo

Doom Fang on Void with Sentinel Shield is much better. In most GMs, you can have supers that last entire combat encounters. In onslaught I’ve had supers last 3 rounds and end when we gotta kill the boss or play rift. Diamond Lance is likely better than Drengrs lash as with facet of dominance, kills on frozen enemies will give stasis shards so even more melee regen.
Monte Carlo gives melee energy just by hitting shots with it…… the chance is only for a full refund on a kill . Still faster than your way more complicated way
Losing out on the survivability in higher end content might hurt a bit but my "finisher core" usually benefits greatly from having one charged up and a stacks on stacks in the legs. you don't end up missing a massive amount of DR and stacks on stacks replacing absolution (stat mod allowance permitting) ends up being a way better deal anyways since your finishers only need two orbs to charge and you end up getting more melee energy back anyway! It works better with special finisher because it consumes a fixed 3 armor charges per finish letting the fourth armor charge sit around to count for the next one but the concept still applies here
A few changes: I would go with choir of one now, instead of drengr I’d go with diamond lance, and the grenade would be shackle or glacier grenade. Glacial quake or twilight arsenal would be the best supers depending on the activity. Thundercrash would also just be fun for the movement
I don't understand how you use 2 weapons on special ammo, I'm constantly running out of ammo and green ammo doesn't fall out of mobs as often as I'd like it to.

Facet of bravery could be a solid addition to this because of doom fangs void weapon buff, assuming you're using a void weapon.

Doomies also give void weapon surges on void damage kills, so you may want to consider running void weapons instead of the Dealer’s Choice weapons.

Abeyant Leap has something similar where you don't need Drengr's Lash to proc woven mail. Meaning its essentially the same as Cyterachne for Hunters.

I think the problem is in high level content you’ll be struggling with ad clear.
why not use diamond lance and facet of command with glacier nades for more shield throw regen?

Ace technically contributes to the Dealer's Choice set bonus, kind of like how Conditional Finality counts as a Harmonic Resonance weapon
Well conditional makes sense because it’s also from the raid. But Ace has nothing to do with the Final Shape other than being Cayde’s weapon

Bravery is a mistake imo, courage makes more sense since you can drengr's to make te melee deal even more damage, paired with knockout it'll guarantee a kill

wanted to use this build because it looked fun but my melees dont seem to be getting benefited from knockout?

it's going from 15k damage without to 7k damage with it active which, and im no mathematician, but i dont think that's exactly doubled
and its not like im reading it wrong or anything; first melee in an encounter hits for 15k and the next (after getting the kill with said melee) deals 7k
maybe it's my fault tho idk
too bad shield throw still feels terribly to use, & like the axes could benefit from a slight rework. Great build however
Think that’s just a preference thing. Like I personally think they feel pretty nice, though that’s probably from a lot of practice with the second chances with Monte Carlo

Doom Fang on Void with Sentinel Shield is much better. In most GMs, you can have supers that last entire combat encounters. In onslaught I’ve had supers last 3 rounds and end when we gotta kill the boss or play rift.
Diamond Lance is likely better than Drengrs lash as with facet of dominance, kills on frozen enemies will give stasis shards so even more melee regen.
Monte Carlo gives melee energy just by hitting shots with it…… the chance is only for a full refund on a kill . Still faster than your way more complicated way

Losing out on the survivability in higher end content might hurt a bit but my "finisher core" usually benefits greatly from having one charged up and a stacks on stacks in the legs. you don't end up missing a massive amount of DR and stacks on stacks replacing absolution (stat mod allowance permitting) ends up being a way better deal anyways since your finishers only need two orbs to charge and you end up getting more melee energy back anyway! It works better with special finisher because it consumes a fixed 3 armor charges per finish letting the fourth armor charge sit around to count for the next one but the concept still applies here

this is not a bad build its just that knockout consecration is just so much better
A few changes: I would go with choir of one now, instead of drengr I’d go with diamond lance, and the grenade would be shackle or glacier grenade. Glacial quake or twilight arsenal would be the best supers depending on the activity. Thundercrash would also just be fun for the movement
I don't understand how you use 2 weapons on special ammo, I'm constantly running out of ammo and green ammo doesn't fall out of mobs as often as I'd like it to.
Play smart with what weapons u are using and with this build u should also be using ur abilities and super very often aswell
