I do have to say, hero cards are sooo annoying to deal with and or they just end the game when it drops
HmongHeroo Honestly. Especially the Mage and Priest one.
Instead of Water Elementals, it should be Magma Ragers when Death Knight Jaina is put into play and when the hero power kills a minion. I would rather deal with 5/1s instead of 3/6s that FREEZE as well.
I'd rather have ice walkers lmao ( it would at least fit in with the ice architype that jaina has become), jk , but yeah, it's just an instant concede on my part if i know i can't do anything. Even if it's a slow effect it topples the next turn almost instantly. Even with druid and warlock, those 3 damage hero powers + minions spawned are so annoying. Hunter w/ insane creatures + maybe card advantage and shaman can be dealt with. As for pally and warrior, they are okay, not too tiliting to face against.
The only ones that isn't as special is probably rogue due to it's reliance on doing nothing and having an answer for the next big attack
the most crazy thing is these fucking UNBALANCED hero cards are in arena, and balanced and ok-ish Old Gods cards like 2 mana 2/3 (Reckoner of Evil) or 4 mana 4/2 divine shield (C'thun's Servant) were not.
Looking back after 4 years makes me sad. Now frost lich jaina/anduin is unplayable because you get otked on t5-6

Hero cards really _are_ bullshit in arena. I can't blame anyone for getting salty when losing to them. The only time I ever got 12 wins in arena was because of Frost Lich Jaina.
She did all the work. I was kinda just... there.
and the most stupid thing that old gods cards (C'thun ones) that are kinda balanced were not in arena.
A lot of people didn't get the deal with that last one. Those people must not be familiar with Kripp and how salty he gets when he loses because of someone frustrating him with a lucky string of taunt topdecks. Yet when he did that to his opponent himself, he called winning that game "the most normal fucking thing in the world".

I think hero cards are bs in general, not just in arena. The only hero card I have is Uther of the Ebon Blade, which is probably the weakest of them all. And I don't play Paladin every round, so usually I won't have a hero card in my deck. To me, if your opponent has a hero card and you don't, you lose 9/10 times. Jaina and Guldan's death knight hero cards are about regaining all of their lost health on top of raising an army of minions. Rexxar's is endless value because he can indefinitely create zombeasts, some of which would have lifesteal, playing back into the theme of regaining all your lost health for free, AND it's a 6-cost card only which is a joke. Garrosh's is OP as well, and he also has Dr. Boom which is insanely OP. Uther's, Anduin's, and Malfurion's are at least semi-balanced even though they're still pretty strong. Overall, I think hero cards are broken and should never be in Hearthstone.
