I've honestly always seen these two as having a relationship similar to Lapis & Peridot. Wanda is a character that's gone through a lot of trauma and has been manipulated into working for villains like Ultron and Magneto. She finally joins the Avengers where she thinks she can put her past behind. Then she sees Loki, the tiny green guy who's tried to conquer Earth numerous times, is now claiming to be a good guy and is bunking with her. She at first refuses to even acknowledge Loki since he reminds her of the evil she's done in the past, but over time she sees that Loki's change is genuine and they become close friends.

As far as I'm concerned Wanda and Loki are the fandom bicycles of the MCU. You can ship them with just about anybody and it will somehow make sense and be perfect.

Seems to be from a movie called I Saw the Light. Sadly the movie seemed to be panned. The complimented the cast, but the material was lacking. Agree with the compliments to the cast. Just from watching them in this video I can tell that Tom And Liz were bringing it. They had great chemistry.
